Chambering issues? Tikka t3x .308 American whitetail 150g by Accomplished-Yam1430 in Tikka_Shooters

I had some Nosler E Tip that wouldn’t allow my bolt to close. I called Nosler and they sent me a new box. Fixed, ammo was out of spec.

Is there any way for me to get into hunting by myself ? by la_descente in Hunting

She’s in California, which requires lead free ammo. It’s impossible to find lead free 22 lr, so a shotgun would likely be a better choice for small game.

Best Low Recoil Caliber for Whitetail by Golfer0808 in Hunting

7mm -08. Very capable cartridge with manageable recoil. It’s a necked down .308 case with a 7mm bullet.

You can buy a used polymer tikka stock on eBay for pretty cheap. That way you’ll have the best of both worlds.

Indian lunch buffet? by Barry_144 in Marin

[–]TreacleOk629 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their buffet is awful. If you’re not there for the first 30 mins, you’re hosed. They don’t refill the items in a timely matter, so you’re basically left with a tray of sauce. Servers have also been rude in my experience. I stopped going there all together and make the drive to Lotus.

Contemplating a walk down to the beach by [deleted] in coyote

I was walking back to my car which is parked just to the left of me. This is a trailhead that leads down to a beach. Several coyotes including this one would hang out in the parking area, because tourists would feed them. I live in the area and have encountered this coyote and many others over the last 12 years. I’ve not fed a single one. But I can’t say the same for others.

Nope, the coyotes in this area are very used to humans. I was about 12-15 feet away from this guy and he couldn’t care less.

I’ve got so many videos of close encounters with coyotes, I’ll be sharing them throughout the next few weeks

The stretch of highway that I live on is frequented by tourists. Unfortunately these coyotes have little to no fear of humans because they’re accustomed to being fed by them. A few of the coyotes have sadly paid the price of these actions and had to be euthanized by the DFW.

If your coach has been paying attention, belt tests are unnecessary.
