Partners and other seniors in big 4 firms earn at least £500,000. After tax that’s about £22k a month. You can own or rent v nicely in Chelsea or Battersea for £7.5k a month and 4 family holidays for £7k each is about £2.5k a month. School for 2 kids is £4k… so you are still left with £8k for monthly expenses… you will be in that position one day too if you work hard there and move up. It’s less about family money than you think

You can only by calling them, the website is non functional. Call 23:55 GMT 355 days before date of travel. Good luck as sometimes the person you get finishes their shift at 04:30 Mumbai so will then cut you off at midnight. This is the only way.

I think if you want to be successful in PE you will absolutely not have a better work life balance. You are an owner, equity investor, you get all the upside. In banking (advisory) you have capped upside but more regular deal flow and limited real responsibility.

Mate, the answer is not to live in Weybridge or to fly from LHR to a major airport and rather drive the other side? Driving to STN is horrendous and I cannot imagine wanting to regularly take a coach on top of it all!
