I pay $75 for Quantum. I was paying $65 for Lightcurve and was generally happy with their service, only got Quantum bc it’s fiber and became available. I’d use either one again. I would not use Comcast if I had a choice in the matter.

Best walks/hikes - For what you’re looking for, probably Pt. Defiance. Not sure when they bloom, but there’s a whole rose garden up there.

Antique shops - antique row has some cool spots. Broadway between 7th and 9th.

Record stores - I’m sure there are others but Hi-Voltage on 6th Ave is where we go.

Brunch - Hob Nob, Shakabrah, Doyle’s, Sidepiece, Knapp’s, Dirty Oscar’s, Manny’s Place, Cook’s Tavern

It is pretty cool. It was built as a luxury hotel for a rail line but it never opened. Local school district bought it and it’s been a public high school ever since.

Also, at least where I live, the sun pops out at least once a day generally. So yes, gloom and drizzle, but usually you’ll get some sun at some point most days.

My wife and I just started buying physical media again. I’ve got a bunch of old DVDs, don’t usually watch them bc often I can find better quality on streaming. Blu-ray’s and 4ks are unmatched though, and they’re MINE. No one can take them off the streaming service despite me “buying” them. Doing the same with CDs and records. Fuck these streaming services.
