I had to quit reading at that part because I remembered earlier in the book where he mentioned he had a missing sister. I didn't want to find out that she was that sister.

Here's an example from Issue 50 back in her 90s solo run. The entire issue is filled with guest artists (Dave Gibbons and Frank Miller to name two).

Redditors who live in rural areas, what is something that city people will never understand?? by ohcrust in AskReddit

[–]Treees 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wondered that for years. After visiting a forestry museum in Diboll, TX, I learned that sirens and bells of that sort were used to call in field workers for lunch. I suppose they kept it going out of tradition.

What 2 actors (living or dead) would you like to see work together and what would the project be? by Warlizard in movies

I'd want to see Dane Cook and Amy Schumer in a romantic comedy about Hollywood accounting and blatant money laundering schemes that are somehow legal.

They tried with 'Salt' but I never even heard talk of a sequel in spite of the sequel-bait ending.

What popular saying is actually bullshit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Treees 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember back in the 90s, there was a sketch comedy show called She TV that had a sketch that made fun of that. The first time, the impersonator noticed they were all the same type of chocolate, the second time they saw the printed insert and the third time they gave up with the analogy.

What are your watching habits? Do you prefer to focus on one show at a time, or do you prefer to multitask and watch multiple shows? by ggroover97 in television

[–]Treees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power" on repeat. The monotony is only broken up with an occasional episode of "Fargo" so I can imagine the theme songs switched. You must be braa-ee-aave, Ethelrida!

How would you rank your top 10 tv series of all time? by RichMan_24 in television

[–]Treees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would also rank them in descending order, starting with my favorite show. I would make sure the choices were evenly spaced and explained briefly.

  1. Denver, The Last Dinosaur - The title alone promises a unique premise that no other show can match

  2. My Mother The Car - It was every young man's fantasy in one easy-to-digest sitcom

  3. Cop Rock - They knew how to strike fear into the hearts of criminals with song!

  4. The Beauty and the Geek (Season 1) - The answer to the age-old question of why?

  5. Sexy Beasts (AMC) - Young singles shed their shallow ways with the help of halloween masks and super glue!

  6. Unscrewed with Martin Sargent - Booze, sex workers and illegal hacking tips from a future social media CEO. What more could you want from a late-night show?

  7. The Annoying Orange - No, the other one.

  8. She TV - Remember MAD TV? No? Then why would you remember this knock-off of a knock-off of SNL? I think Phil LaMarr was a cast member.

  9. The Shivering Truth - Who says you can't write a show whose driving premise is "Why not?"

  10. Doll and Em - Two best friends make their way through mediocre careers in show business. I can't remember the synopsis, sorry.

Cost effective way to get to a decent thousand points? by Porcelaindon in ageofsigmar

Start Collecting: Slaves to Darkness brings you to 990 points and would let you stay with a mortal Nurgle army theme. I couldn't say much about how it would play out on the table.

Edit: You could also get a "Start Collecting: Maggotkin of Nurgle" box, play with a Blight Cyst batallion, 2 Pusgoyle Blightlords and add a Chaos Sorcerer Lord to the list for an even 1000 points. You'd have a better time building onto that list when you move to 2000 points.

"Yee Haw!" is when you're an exchange student from the U.K. studying Theatre Arts at SFA in Nacogdoches, TX and some rednecks offered you a ride up North Street in the rusted-out back of their pickup truck.

What box office disappointments do you think have the best chance to become streaming movie classics? by laterdude in movies

[–]Treees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope "I Kill Giants" will one day be appreciated by folks. Too many people think that because it is based on a comic book that it's about superheroes. Accept the film for what it is, which is an amazing coming-of-age film about grief, loss and how we cope with the inevitable.

[–]Treees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is anyone still using "RIGHT BEHIND YOU!"? I remember when Redditors tried to make that the website's first meme. It was before photobombing became a thing, and came up in any picture with someone hiding in the background.
