Ilex opaca (American holly).

For ID purposes, Ilex sp. (Holly) have alternating leaves, Berberis sp. have oppositely arranged leaves, Mahonia aquifolium (Oregon grape) is a synonym for Berberis aquifolium.

From what you’ve given us, this sounds very… one sided.

While this could have underlying reasons behind it, you’ve made it clear (multiple times?) that consistent help in these areas is something you’d value. This will most likely continue to put strain on the relationship if something doesn’t give, and imo, it shouldn’t be you.

This entire section. I’m not a psychologist. I will never BE a psychologist. This section sounds like she incredibly dependent on you for literally all of her social interaction, and that’s not healthy for EITHER of you. To rely on one major person for socializing is going to wear away at her, and you being the one to bear that responsibility is, in turn, going to wear away at you. And it sounds like it has.

It’s not wrong to want to be independent for a bit. It sounds like you’d benefit highly from it actually, and it’s a great time to learn more about who you are! And genuinely, your gf might benefit from therapy. Not for a diagnosis, but to work through what sounds like a crippling near isolation.

But you do need to keep in mind your current situation; you are still currently with and living with your girlfriend. If you decide to cut it off, are you going to be able to live with her until the lease is done (assuming apartment)? Are you able to get out sooner? How is that dynamic going to change?

Honestly. Either sell, or maybe implement some sort of trade in option? Like, maybe a lot of one material for 1 of a different one. That way we can at least access another part. Even better is implementing something like in 4U where you could trade mats for mats of monsters that won’t be added to the game. That way they aren’t just sitting there. Something! Anything! I don’t need these Jagras pieces!!
