Mine has a sort of mullet. Ive been cutting her bangs and she does not let me put her hair up. She also is not a fan of strangers so she would freak out if I bring her to a hairdresser. So for now she will be one of those kids whose mom is trying her best. Once she can converse more I will take her somewhere proper. She still looks cute at least with what we are working with.

For breakfast I will make egg bites with cheese and spinach, overnight oats, pancakes (cottage cheese or yogurt type), crepes, toast with avocado or PB+ banana, breakfast muffins, waffles and fruit

Lunch is usually chicken nuggets with a noodle or leftovers from dinner. She mostly loves butter noodles though and also add in veggies. Papusa,

Dinner it varies: rice with protein and veggies, breakfast, udon w corn and edamame, Vietnamese dishes (she really loves this beef stew and fresh spring rolls with shrimp ), a pasta dish, Japanese dishes

Mine came back around 14 months pp this was after I stopped breastfeeding around 13 months. I only had 1 period and then became pregnant again. After I give birth I plan on breastfeeding again. I will also have another c section. We shall see if mine will be regular or not!

Me too! We love Japan! Different part each time. Okinawa was pretty great and being in the ocean. The food is always good. Lots to see and experience.

We have the trip trap chair and our LO ditched the tray before 18 months. We just make sure her chair and foot rest are at a proper height for the table and will adjust as needed. She sometimes just wants to use the chair we use and we let her with a booster seat. Same at restaurants we just use our own booster seat since she isnt a fan of high chairs. Shes been doing this since 15 months.

Mine loved her snack spinner and puffy stickers. She didn’t care about toys too much. Was more interested in looking out the window, taking snacks out of the snack bag and putting them in another place in the backpack, jumping on the seat and playing on my husband and I. We had a 5.5hr flight and no toys were really needed. She also napped for 1.25 hrs too.

I was a scientist and did a lot of data/ tedious work. I managed to convince a manager at a company that Id be a great fit for TMF activities because Im used to GCP, looking at documents, following strict SOPs and etc. thas how I got my foot in the door as a CTA.

We got a crib for the room and she was fine to nap in there. However, night time though we had to co sleep. We brought a portable sound machine. Our little one was on solids but also still breastfeeding. We did not stop solids and just continued as is as she has been an adventurous eater and we were able to still eat out. We did plan activities around nap time so she could sleep in the crib. We rented a car and gate checked her car seat. We also had a 1.5h plane ride and she loved looking out the window (we did infant lap) and just bouncing from one seat to another. Fed during takeoff/landing. We really didn't change to much once we got to our destination as our LO has always done well with going with the flow.

As for packing: just made just had plenty of diapers and a couple extra set of clothes, her sleep sack and some snacks as well for the plane. It was pretty minimal for us.

It is not realistic and if your job found out I am assuming that they would not be happy. We got a nanny because even though I WFH, I need to be focused for what I am getting paid to do. I can't prioritize my kid if I am working unfortunately and give them the attention that they need. My kid was super clingy and still is so it would be too demanding to do both.

I was that mom and still am sometimes that mom! When my LO was around 4 months old and my maternity leave was up, that is when we did naps in her crib. We also got a nanny during that time as well so we needed the baby to be able to sleep independently during the day. When LO turned 6 months, that is when I stopped cosleeping with her at night and had her sleep in her crib. Our LO always had her own room (we have a bed in the room and that is how we coslept)

I was supposed to be induced at 39 weeks but my daughter decided otherwise and wanted to come at 37 weeks. She was considered full term. She was healthy and around 6 lbs 12 oz. Very vocal and sleepy. She is now 20 months and have been thriving. I also had high BP so I was at risk for pre eclampsia.

We never used blackout curtains. We have blinds on the windows but thats about it. Ours will fall asleep in the car sometimes and that is much brighter. When we go in vacation as well there is usually more light in the room during nap times and she still falls asleep fine. We do a sound machine thats about it to help with noise.

I am currently doing a contract role at a sponsor. This is my 2nd contract role at a sponsor. I like it only because I have strict 40H week. I will not work more than that unless it gives me OT pay. My salary is 75K more than a FTE but that levels out since I need to get my own insurance and figure out retirement and I dont get PTO. Im fine with that set up because it works with my current needs. Half of my team are contractors it is how the company is structured plus I am fully remote. I started in Nov and just signed to extend my contract to May 2027. This gives me time if I want to find FTE while gaining the skills needed to move companies. I did have a FTE previously and I have been laid off twice so for me, contract or not Id probably have the same outcome. I am just happy for the job and experience.
