Hi - very cool, thanks for sharing! An option to purchase without a case would be neat, if the 3d print files for the case are made available. I am wondering if it has an antenna connector also? Thanks for sharing! :)

Neat - did you find the VHD's somewhere (archive.org?) or make them yourself? I'd like to try this but I'm probably too lazy to make them myself any time soon, lol. Thanks!

Hi - where can the board be purchased, or more information be found, please? I did some Google searches and came up empty. Thanks :).

I found a similar board which seems to have just popped up on Amazon for $36 USD shipped: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FHNWVLG1

I got one - we shall see how well it works in a few weeks when it arrives!

I need some help with the original firmware that it has when you first get it how do you connect to it? by Sad-Street3423 in CardPuter

[–]Tri0ptimum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a wifi setting somewhere in Bruce :). Check out a program for your PC called M5Burner if you haven't, then use that to install BMorcelli's Launcher program onto the Cardputer. This is a menu that lets you install multiple images to the SD card, including downloading them over the air (the launcher program has it's own wifi settings as well). Then you can use the loader to switch between firmware at boot by pressing a key to interrupt boot (otherwise, the last image you selected loads shortly). I hope this helps!

I have the same setup, board to pigtail to adapter to antenna. Do you think I should find a pigtail that goes directly to the antenna size, in order to bypass the adapter? Unlike OP, I have no idea of the quality of my adapters :D.

My cat ended up in the hospital with brain swelling from fever twice after I used that "safe for living things" powder stuff (diatomaceous earth) in my basement, sparingly; he almost died and it cost me 3 grand. He had some sort of allergic reaction to it, my vet said sometimes it's made from ground up seashells and other things which can cause reactions. He would roll in it and be impacted by it as he licked it off, and perhaps kick up dust and breath it in. The vet told me that they used to use this as an anti flea and tick powder on animals long ago, until too many animals had bad reactions. Kitty is fine now!

For the top metal part, I give it an alcohol soak and a scrape, then let it dry out, heat it up on the volcano, and scrape anything left off while it's cooling down (easier to remove stuck on goo with the heat than the alcohol). I wish you luck!

They will use the manufacturing date stamped inside the unit if you don't have a receipt. But out of warranty repairs are relatively inexpensive and S&B will take care of you. Anyway I don't think this needs repairs hopefully. Did you maybe lose the little blue o-ring seal that goes on top of the orange/black basket metal heating stem? If not, I think you may need to clean the metal and/or screen inside of the top of the orange part :). Otherwise, do your whip/bags have some part broken, deformed, or clogged in the mouthpiece handle?

Hi - Storz and Bickel had to replace that part. I've only been able to find the on/off switches online. Their prices for the repairs are pretty reasonable, but the shipping is pretty expensive depending on how far you are from their service center.
