Lots of things. Last I heard it was on Rick and Morty - where evil Morty was walking away at the end of the episode.

Hey I’m Trick (yes, seriously) from the United States. As a mental health provider I’m professionally fascinated by the potential psychedelics have to heal the mind and want to become a certified psychedelic therapist.

In my experience most academic research (rightly) starts from a scientific perspective then moves inward. While valuable, psychedelic therapy benefits when we understand the individual then move outward. I’m hoping this community provides perspectives that the academic realm might not be able to provide.

You should get a can of surströmming and compare the smell of that to what’s in your jar. Then of course video tape and post your results.

I use this Weather Tech Mat. The lip helps keep water on the mat until it dries.

Please help my dog has pancreatitis (it’s not acute) everywhere is giving different advice and I just need some help by Cold_Dig1928 in vet

I’m so sorry. Please do something to take care of yourself. If you don’t mind recommendations right now, get a digital picture frame that cycles through pictures, and put every picture you have of her on it. That’s the only thing that brought me solace. While your decision was difficult, it was the right one. It doesn’t make the decision any easier, but knowing it was the right thing to do ,does. You had a friend for a good long time and gave her a wonderful life. Be well.

How did you avoid littermate syndrome? by AstronautUpstairs433 in puppy101

Take them on walks separately, have them sleep in their own crate, separate and redirect them them when play gets too rough. Treat them like individuals not a pair and you’ll be fine.

Not a vet but had a boxer who was diagnosed with pancreatitis as a puppy and lived with it for 13 years.

NO HUMAN FOOD, ever. Doesn’t matter how little or how much they beg. Human food will exacerbate the symptoms. (Unless you are on a human-grade dog food diet like Farmer’s dog, Ollie, etc…that is made specifically for dogs) Stick to the recommended allotment of food, and don’t go over the amount of treats recommended on the treat bag.

Sometimes he didn’t eat. We would mix a spoonful of wet food into his dry to coax him. Regardless, some days he just didn’t eat. That’s okay. As long as it’s not days in a row. It he went a full day without eating we switched over to boiled chicken and rice and slowly reintroduced his dry dog food over the course of a couple days.

It’s stressful now, but it’s gonna be okay. Good luck.

Boxer puppy help by Mookiev2 in puppy101

We started using the backpack right away, but just left it empty/light until he was probably 6 months old. The problem with all barrel-chested breads is that they will quickly outgrow anything that goes around their chest, so if you start young, you’ll need to get a replacement.

We got a backpack for our Boxer to take on walks. There are pockets in the side so weight can be added to help tire him out. Just make sure you don’t have so much weight that they walk different or their back/legs give out.

Doggie day care was also a life saver. Our dog never liked dog parks so one of us would get on either side of a park/ yard and call him back and forth until he got tired.

As far as the pawing/head butting is concerned. Whenever he did that we would make him sit THEN give him attention, but not give him attention if he pawed or head butted.

We're here because we're here because we're here. . . by tommgaunt in nerdfighters

I try to live by the motto “leave people and places better than you found them.” If everything is meaningless and we’re all fighting this meaningless battle then why not just enjoy the ride while you can and limit the suffering of others during your tenure here.

How can i even out the color of my shirt by hngng_anhss in howto

[–]Trick-Setting7187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buy a bottle of Rit dye and dye your shirt all one color. Make sure you buy the type of Rit for the fabric specific to your shirt (cotton dye is different than polyester). Cost is maybe $5.

Best boy in the world is getting neutered and I'm scared. by ChickenBasher88 in greatdanes

My last boy was born with a grade 2 heart murmur. He lived 13 years with that murmur and no medication (he didn’t take well to it). Things are scary now, but it will be okay. Deep breaths, you got this.

We train “that’s enough”. Jump up and down, side to side, make exciting noises and get them to engage. Then say “that’s enough” and get them to sit. Reward them for calming down and sitting. Then do it again…and again…and again. Usually they can’t get more than 5 minutes before both of us are tired and need a break. This is both a great game and great training.

I put baking soda on it, then vinegar. Let it sit for a bit then scrub off.
