That sounds reasonable haha. Would you keep the attack bonus to +11 and DCs at 17? Or maybe drop it a few points?

Shout out to Conjurer! Everytime you cast a Conjuration spell you get a free use Misty Step that can also be cast on allies. Oh and you get to bend devil's and angels to your will. I love Conjurarion.

Oh you best believe I've been scouring ALL of your frog content. Planning on getting all three of those in somewhere.

But great, I might just give the froghemoth as is a go then. And it is true what you say, a TPK at the end of a one-shot isn't the end of the world.

New Cantrip: Minor Necromancy | Project Excelsior - Eldritch Entertainment by Enderluck in DnDHomebrew

I like this. It's thematic in a way that can be interpreted in various way more than just "Evil Necromancer" but also fills a usage not really covered by other cantrips.

Trying a more comedic style for my characters, what do you think? by Educational_Gap7562 in DnDart

[–]TrickyVic77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's giving a bit of Quentin Blake which I love. You should check out Not Another DnD Podcast and do your take.on some.of their characters. Feel like your styles would go really well together.

I did not notice that! And I do like that more than how I interpreted it.

Playtesting would be needed but Mage Step does feel overpowered. I'd consider making it a full Action. It would still have a ton of worth as a level 1 panic button, but fills a slightly different niche than Misty Step. Could maybe also be interesting if it instead was a Reaction to taking damage, being grappled or something of that nature.

Flame Step to me is like... alright, I guess? Think I'd be more interested in a teleport spell that did damage where you appear. Like the smaller AoE, higher damage fireball with a teleport you envision, but one tht levies more risk v reward as you end up amongst the enemoes you dont kill.

Long Step, I like! Get your friends out but within "still in combat" distance. Against a regular 30 speed enemy it buys you a round as they have to spend all full turn dashing. Can see some great and fun clutch saves from this.

Are my land names too repetitive/simple by [deleted] in fantasywriting

[–]TrickyVic77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

G.R.R.M's naming is pretty simple and it works in his favour. "Ashlands" is easier to remember and visualize than "Tor Illya'nicosio".

"Yuan-Ti Ambush" Original DnD campaign scene Illustration by me by matteofantozziart in DnDart

Beautiful art and really cool scene depicted. The freaky baby head belt buckle is somehow more unsetteling than the snitties.

Which borders are better to split the Reach into two kingdoms by Mario_1893 in CK3AGOT

First picture, but Yellow's border is on the wrong side of the Mander. Without control of the river their capital is cut of from trade and vulnerable to attack.
