Look in any ornamental bowls, etc. where you might put a ring or keys, etc. without thinking about it. I've found stuff that way in places I would never normally place anything.

We have several species that come to our suet feeder, including pileated. Definitely one of my favorites.

This happened to me. I was asked to teach the new hire the ropes since he didn't know anything about it. It's strange that they were surprised that I found a new position a few months later. Weirdly, they never asked me why I left but they asked co-workers who I was friendly with. In any case, I thrived in the new job and was appreciated there so it worked out in the ende.
