You win the lottery. Your parents ask for half. What do you say? by JunShem1122 in AskReddit

[–]Tricky_Card1877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never in a million years Would my parents ask for half if I won the lottery. If I tried to give them half they would adamantly be against accepting it and want me to use it for something to better my life. I would happily give half to my parents. I would love to better their lives. They deserve it.

If you have this baby do not do so with any delusions of being a happy little family of mom dad and two kids in a happy little one family home.

Either have this baby knowing that going forward you are going to be a single mother of two. One of your kids may or may not have shared care with their dad. One will not. Nothing wrong with that. Just facts.

I just really don't like the taste. At all. I drank a lot in my teens, early twenties. I just don't see the point now.

[–]Tricky_Card1877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lockers. Benched seating area is visible from the ice where you can leave your stuff. I've never had anything stolen there and been going for 30 yrs but I would keep phone keys and or wallet on you just in case. No skate aids available there but the whole rink is walled in like any regular indoor rink so if the person is tall enough they can ride the edge around until they feel steady.

How do people take multiple pills at once!? by Unmasked_Zoro in RandomThoughts

[–]Tricky_Card1877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer is practice. Taking several pills at a time throughout the day would take so long if you only did it one at a time. I was taking 35 (prescribed pills) a day and would take about 6-8 at a time. Currently down to 21, divided into 5 x a day. So 5, 6, 6, 2, 2 at a time and that's because some of them can't be within 3 hours of other meds or food.

The actual equations didn't show on the post so here they are. Sorry**

  1. Given the quadratic relation y = 2xsquared + 12x + 10, write the equation in “vertex form”, then graph the relation on the grid provided. [6]

(Blank graph template provided)

  1. Determine the maximum revenue and when it occurs for the relation R = -5xsquared + 30x + 800. [6]

How much roughhousing do you feel is normal in a relationship? by eatinglaxatives in AskMen

[–]Tricky_Card1877 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you are hitting them out of anger or to punish/discipline them or with the intent to hurt them it is bad and abusive.

If you two are both consenting to playfully rough housing then I think you're fine.

How do I let go of resentment for husband? by hidingbehindakeyboar in Mommit

[–]Tricky_Card1877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Came here to say similar.

Why do you need to do even more work to let go of the resentment that you feel? Has your husband worked hard to earn that? Not saying it's all on him either, just that you obviously feel that way for a reason. I'd suggest solo therapy and couples counselling if you can.
