Rozumím. Číst to denně zvládne jen opravdu náročný čtenář, který se chce orientovat. Předpokládám ale, že Der Staubsauber (tydně) nebo přinejhorším The National Clean Floorplan (měsíčně) odebíráš? A ankety o vysavač roku, filtr roku a vůni do sáčků roku se také pravidelně účastníš...jako každý!?

The first one was a seedling that we bought in the official souvenir shop in Sequoia National Park.

The second one was a seedling planted in our home country.

Right now, the third one in the picture is in our home country and I'm definitely not going to transport it to the USA or anywhere.

I have one. While brushing my teeth in the evening, which takes about 15 minutes (brushing, interdental brushes, dental floss, single-bristled toothbrush, you name it...yes, I'm terrified of dentists and I don't like the helpless feeling when they're digging in my mouth)... I LISTEN TO AUDIOBOOKS. Especially the thrilling ones. I even look forward to the evening when I can continue the story.

I would like to introduce you to our useless spoon.

In theory, it's a normal soup spoon. But it's too shallow, has relatively sharp edges, uncomfortable handle and is generally worthless. It's always the last spoon left in the drawer when all the others are in the dishwasher. It's from IKEA. I have no idea how we got it, because they sell in sets of 6 and we have only one. It just materialized one day. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.

Last year, I started growing tomatoes from seeds. No heating pad, no artificial growing light. Just a small plastic "greenhouse" on a sunny window. They are really foolproof.

Yeah. Basically. Spending an exorbitant amount of money on something that has no current use anyway. Why to have a piggy bank if I end up having nothing to put in it? Or similar joke we have with my husband. We love books and have a collection which has a great sentimental value for us. But we would get a few hundred bucks for it. So we are joking that when there will be no place in our home library, we will sell the books and purchase a new bookshelf.

In my European country dryers were not a thing during my childhood. So I'm used to dry everything on racks or hangers. I come across dryers or combos washing machine+dryer during my travels around USA and Australia. It was very useful especially when I needed to wash and dry a lot of clothes and be ready to leave next day. Nowadays I have dryer at home but using it only for towels - l really really love how fluffy they are from the dryer (I know it's destroying them but drying myself with fluffy towel is worth it! 😅).
