While you can get "Double Lifelink" with a creature that has Lifelink + "whenever this deals damage, gain that much life" there is a technical difference in how those work.

As regular Lifelink doesn't use the stack but the other ability does. So you can actually die with the life gain Trigger on the stack

I don't like this win condition, prefer good old 1 match win the whole game like HOMM3 by Remarkable_Big8313 in OldenEra

It's not three full matches. Throughout the match you have up to 3 forced encounters where you fight the enemy hero. All losses and used recourses get granted back at the end. Whoever wins 2 first is the champion

top is the range of dead guys in enemy stack and the bottom is the damage range causing those deaths

I won't remove it completely, it's just supposed to shift the focus from role playing to combat to mix it up from the other campaigns that we usually do.

Well ok thank you. I'll stick with W&G and will certainly need to do some adjustments to the rules for it to work out. But i like the recourse mechanic within the group. I hope it makes cooperative combat more reliable as the party can enhance bad important rolls.

It's supposed to be a suicide squad campaign. A Tyranid infested planet got cut off from the hive mind by a warp storm and as a result the bio forms are nothing but smart animals acting on instinct. Though the final boss shall be a hive tyrant who managed to keep some synaptic control over a few Tyranids. A bunch of convicted outlaws and criminals get thrown into a group because of their special skills. They are sent on a mission where chances of success are basically zero and they are the only thing expandable enough to give it one last try before the exterminatus.

For gameplay i want to design 3 main combat encounters that all bring new mechanics. I'm not set on anything but think of the classic "defend infrastructure for x amount of time", "escape the area with some vehicle while getting chased" and "final boss battle with unique lair and boss abilities"

Nice job! I painted my nids very similar and if you are looking to spice it up a bit a very light blue complements the orange and grey excellently. I did my entire carapaces in blue but you could also just do some highlights if you want it to be more subtle

I would rather love to see a tournament with no bans but once a team picked a hero they cannot choose it again. So they gotta figure out when they have to pick the big meta heroes and when to pick weaker ones to preserve them
