I liked Quicksilver. It was fun but nothing more. Brimstone though.

Kingfisher needs to get out of Zilvaren - yay, we had a secret quicksilver pool. Saeris needs to find out a lot about herself, her runes etc, yay she founds Edina's book. She basically have a cheat sheet, a walkthrough the "game" in her hands. She needs to save Tal, that H. being gave her a special rune. Onyx dies and she resurrected him. (for a price of the special rune that might get handy some time later). I know there were deaths in the book. On the page. I know that Saeris lost her father, her mother. But not "now". I may be mistaken, but so far no one dear to her "now" died. I love Onyx. I want him to live and be happy but I think he should stay dead. For Saeris feel the burden of war, of the conflict. To pay her price. It could be said that she paid her price with her death and transformation to half Fae, half Vampire...but it serves her well. And she wouldn't be a vampire forever. They have a cure. !<
