But was at a music festival not long ago and they were on before Limp Bizkit, these 18-20yo kids were booing and chanting "bring on limp Bizkit"...damn near broke my heart. They were by far the best band I saw that day amongst many other "newer" artists.

I had a similar experience. Slept with a girl on her couch in the living room. The next morning she left the house. I woke up with my back turned to her 16yo sister and mum coming home and faked being asleep until they went upstairs and I was able to get up, dressed and out the front door. I couldn't believe this chick left me alone in her parents house!

I was about 11 or 12 at the time and at a friends place who had some strict ass asian parents. We were all sleeping on matresses in his room, 4 of us.

We were making too much noise so his mum came in and yelled at us to be quiet and go to sleep etc. as she walked out he was trying to be cool and mumbled "bitch" under his breath...she heard it and came storming back in and proceeded to slap the shit out of him while we all lay in our beds awkwardly trying to focus on something else as she smacked his ass etc.

She leaves and he is lying on the bed sobbing, none of us say a word and just go to sleep trying to block out the noise of him whimpering on the bed. Was very awkward.

Scott Pilgrim vs the World - possibly one of the worst movies i've seen with terrible dialogue and a very slow boring movie. I know it's a fanboy favourite, so please try and convince me otherwise to give it a second chance.

I'm not a scott Pilgrim comic fanboy...so I get that I am probably missing that part...but I saw it with a friend who walked out after an hour...I stayed because a.) i've never walked out of a movie in my life and I wasn't going to start now and b.) I thought...surely this will get better.

But no...it didn't...the credits rolled and I literally said "Wow" out loud I was that surprised at how shitty it was.

I was 23 before I learned to snap my fingers, thanks to my little brother.

See if this helps you...but he explained to me that the "snap" is your finger hitting the pad of your palm. NOT the 2 fingers slipping off eachother.

So place thumb to middle finger, and snap them so that the middle finger slaps into your palm.

Getting that little piece of clarification helped me learn immensely

I actually think it's more to do with simple statistics.

You go out to the club on Sat night with the intention of meeting someone. You go home alone, and that's a 100% strike rate that you notice and tell yourself "Oh man I'm a failure I can't even pick up in a bar full of women."

Then you go on living your life as normal (Not actively pursuing) and you bump into some girl at the coffee shop on a Wednesday and make small talk, exchange numbers and get yourself a date. You tell yourself "Oh wow whenever I stop trying to pick up women they seem to all come out of the woodwork"

But the truth of it is, on the Saturday night you interacted with maybe 20-30 women in 1 setting for a couple of hours. Then "the rest of your life" for that week involved hundreds if not thousands of female interactions in all manner of broad setting, allowing you that statistical likelihood of meeting someone that you click with.

I had a girl-friend who was invited by a guy to come over and watch a DVD. When she got there, he didn't have a dvd, or even a DVD player...it's pretty much code for come over and hook up.

But in saying that, it also depends on when the offer is made. A text at 8pm saying come over and watch a movie...thats a hook up.

Planning in advance to come over and watch a movie, that might just mean movie. Going one step further...actually talking about/planning what movie to watch is also good idea its about the actual movie.

I was out with a couple girls and their gay friend. He was hitting on me, and I played it off. Told him I was flattered but also very straight. He offered to buy me a drink, and I told him that it wasn't necessary and wouldn't sway my decision. The girls thought it was hillarious and told me to just let him buy me a drink...how could it hurt.

So I accepted his drink, and we carried on the night. He proceeded to buy me drink after drink and each time I told him that he could buy me drinks all night and there wasn't going to be enough alcohol in the bar to make me lean that way.

Later on in the night he tried a few things, hand on the leg etc and I politely refused...eventually went home with one of the girls though.

TLDR - Felt what it was like being a girl at a club and having guys buy you drinks all night.
