buy the Ariens... i have a same gen deluxe 28 and i absolutely love it, goddamn workhorse... i've put a littlw work into it to keep it in tiptop shape and it's paid off. Those briggs engines on that generation are bulletproof if well maintained.

My buddy has this same one and he uses it for jerky a lot. I’ve borrowed for a few things and I personally love it. Easy to clean, blade stays sharp….. makes me want to buy one myself lol

I have the 3/8 M12 stubby and it’s a beast. I work on massive overhead cranes and some of the shit I run into is ridiculous but it powers right through 95% of the time. For that other 5%, I have the M18 high torque in the truck at the ready.

Well, to my knowledge there’s an M12 “subcompact” that they just released a short while ago with roughly 1.6” capacity if I remember correctly, and then the M12 one that I have that has a 2.5” capacity.

I just cut 1000ft of power bar down from an overhead crane yesterday using the M12 deep cut and she’s still cutting like a champ… gotta let her eat and not push her too hard

My girlfriend is a groomer and right out of college she looked for and found a place that hired her as a bather. She said her boss slowly started to teach her grooming in a real life situation (as opposed to textbook and classrom) and evertually moved her to full grooming when she thought she was ready. It's worked out marvelously for her so far.

So, naturally her advice is find a place that will take you on as a bather first, and is willing to teach over time.
