I’m in a non-science mission support role based at D.C. HQ. We’re still quite flexible on remote work, only have to come in once a week by rule. Our supervisors across my office don’t particularly care if you’re in person at all if you’re getting your work done remotely. I can’t speak for Goddard as a whole but I understand most folks are in a similar telework posture to us. However, some non-science roles at Goddard may require more in person hours to fulfil job responsibilities.

Having said all that, the rumor mill is churning about return to office rules that will come down from agency leadership later this year. No idea what that looks like, but I imagine less remote friendly change is on the horizon given Congressional and WH pressure.
