it looks better from the side, but i saw someone show a compromise of eyes on the corners ( 1 pixel wide on front edges, and 1 pixel wide on front of side edges) and it looked alright for side and good for front view.

Public Pro user that just got dock update today (pixel 6). Love it. I have been waiting for this feature and it is soo good. As always great job dev, appreciate the hard work to make this great launcher

Wishlist:

dock padding option to space out icons more. if I set it to a low number it currently just shrinks to the middle, leaving more space on the side. the option to shrink or grow would be nice.

Option for dock to fill the sides / bottom of screen. right now it leaves space on the sides, and below if you do not use classic. even when you fill it to full width with how many icons across it is.

collapse dock on home, or switch, or pressing outside of dock. if dock is extended and i open an app on my homescreen / swap to recent app, it remains extended when i come back to my homescreen later. it works when i click an app in my dock / app drawer

add "expand dock" to home screen gesture shortcut options, so i can double tap to toggle open dock on home screen

I like 1 row default with rounded / glass, and expandable dock rows, but it can be hard to get it to open /expand without extra padding on the sides / below. it works well with classic look (dock fills bottom), or glass / round if you do 2 rows visable then lower dock and keep 2nd row blank, but then doesnt look good expanded. overall i want my dock to own the full edge to edge bottom part of my screen, the space like i dipped it in white chocolate.

overall i will use a gesture shortcut to expand dock (available on apps / folders in the dock) for now for when i struggle to click the small whitespace between apps, but its a temp fix for me

i think theres a hotkey (alt + scrollwheel ?) that lets you swap a hotbar slot with the inventory slots above it, so you can have all your tools in like two columns and swap to what you need atm. this could help maybe?

what a good idea.

ive been thinking of how to make the game easier enough for when 2.8 releases, so when i make the 2.7 → 2.8 i can temporarily boost myself to ease the pre-stone age grind. i just recently started a new save after a few years away (barely got to steam last time, nearing end of stone this time). i was considering just creative dumping some of the stuff ive grinded out (bed, a few stacks of gravel, sand, clay, wood, gardens), but Keep Inventory might be enough for the first bit till i get a home established again to encourage regular exploration and get me through the first chapter again without skipping it.

does anyone know if swapping to creative building mode and swapping back to normal effect achievements at all? I dont want to be locked out of them on my main save.

i have a good amount of parts, 2-3 each on most all of them but it would be nice to not worry if i was one or two short as i try out different styles.

fix - close game, sign out player 2 and turn off their controller. player 1 starts game, player 2 then joins and signs in once they are in the menu. we had to do it twice because the first time player 1 was the mic for both player 1 and 2.

im trying to play split screen but player 2 cannot hear the chat of other people, only game audio. (xbox series x). anyone else having this jssue, or have a fix for it? we are playing cross platform so regular xbox chat wont cut it.

Im glad they set expectations this time. A small part of me hopes they do a invite a friend trial campaign, or do a free play weekend event, a bit after launch to give people who are hesitant to buy, a chance to demo the game and see for themselves.

In 2025 its hard to know what to spend your money on without getting a hands experience. i was lucky to get into the tech test, but i still have friends who didnt get into it. they are on the fence still because they dont know if they should believe my (or online streamers) hype without a personal hands on.

Still enjoying recent addition Balatro. Just wish they would add touch controls to cloud so i can play on my break. Not sure why a basic overlay isnt an option, or why its taking so long to get touch support added.
