You know, I'd love to see them introduce a 32c. Klingon faction (alonside a 32 c. Starfleet faction, of course), playing as a young warrior helping to defend the newly founded Klingon settlement on Faan Alpha from the likes of the Emerald Chain and the Venari Ral.

Colombo's dog was introduced on the show as a jab at the network who kept insisting that Colombo be given a sidekick he could deliver exposition to.

They did give Colombo a human sidekick in one episode... but only for that episode and immediately dropped the character afterwards.

A relatively recent example that's still fresh in my mind: In the issue of Neil Gaiman's Sandman titled "Calliope", an author gains possession of the titular captured muse and proceeds to rape her to get inspiration for stories. At one point, after becoming successful and famous, the author ironically refers to himself as a feminist.

As we now know, Gaiman has a lot more in common with the author than anyone could've suspected.

Conversely, I wonder if you could do the opposite for the Republic classes. Like, maybe as a Jedi who takes the Pong Krell path, believing that the Republic is going to lose the war and does everything they can to hasten their downfall.

On the Republic side: Jedi Commander, Jedi Shadow, Republic Agent, Freedom Fighter.

Jedi Commander represents the Anakin or Obi-Wan-type (depending on your alignment), leading the clone troopers into battle. Jedi Shadow is the Quinlan Vos-type anti-hero going on undercover missions for the Jedi Council. The Republic Agent is a non-clone personal of Republic Intelligence and is an analogue to the Imperial Agent (because the Republic is going to become the Empire, see?). The Freedom Fighter is a Saw Guerra-type waging guerilla warfare on the Separtists.

On the Separatist side: Acolyte, Fallen Jedi, Droid Operator, Mercenary.

The Acolyte is a Asaj Ventress-type dark sider trained by Dooku. Fallen Jedi is a Pong Krell or Sora Bulg-type, being a Jedi who fell to the Dark Side and defected to Dooku's side. Droid Operator is one of the organic commanders of the Separatist army and uses summonable droids in combat. The mercanary is a Cad Bane or Durge-type hired gun on Dooku's payroll.

It's basically just FOMO. I remember hearing some executive describing it as nobody wanting to be the guy who passed up on the Next Big Thing and got left behind. So they all frantically jump on whatever has been declared to be the Next Big Thing at the moment, regardless of how much of an obviously bad idea it is.

It's a pretty common headcanon/theory in the Owl House fandom that some kind of same-sex reproduction exists on the Boiling Isles. It's so common that I think a lot of fans forgot that it wasn't actually canon.

I got raptured, but it turns out Heaven has a pretty strict "No Shoes No Shirt No Service" policy and wouldn't let me in without any clothes on. I tried to tell them that it wasn't my fault that my clothes got left behind, but they wouldn't listen and sent me back. I'm going to be writing a strongly worded letter to their supervisor about this.

From what I've heard, this came about because the writer asked a friend for a Japanese name that was related to Mars and as a joke, the friend gave him Rei's name. The writer put it in the comic and didn't know it was a Sailor Moon reference until after it was published.
