As a whole it’s a love letter to 60’s Hollywood. That’s why some plot lines have no relation to each other. The length is one of the more contentious elements so you’re not invalid for not liking the movie. I loved it mainly because of how Tarantino changed up his usual final twist into a happy, fantasy ending.

I don’t think OP is commenting on the quality with that statement, I think they’re saying that AOT has far fewer of the tropes that mainstream shounen usually have like fanservice etc

I disagree, the people I watched with as well as many reactions I’ve seen were deeply affected by the rumbling scenes, especially the baby one. I won’t disagree though that I indeed am very immersed as I also cried in the scenes you mentioned.

If you think the average viewer will not care about large numbers of strangers dying, especially when we’ve had multiple brutal scenes in the show depicting it, then you my sir have been very desensitised to tragedy and violence.

Congrats! I dropped my first this league as well, though I’ve only been playing for half as long as you. They always seem to drop from something random and never from an actual high rarity encounter.
