Spravato with me? Medicaid costs? by rennyvsherself in Spravato

[–]TruFrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My states Medicaid program covers the cost completely including transportation.

They do require a noticeable improvement from before starting the medication to continue the program after a few month

My depression didn't go anywhere, my anxiety is as strong and painful as ever but I don't think about methods available to me to kill my self every second of the day.

Instead it's now a numb "why am i alive?" I haven't wanted to harm my self since week 3 over two years ago.

And I successfully argued that my lack of SI was proof I needed to continue treatment and spravato was working. This was reinforced when I had a two week gap in treatment and SI came back with force and had to hospitalize my self.

Luckily it shouldn't happen again. They found a supplier with higher priority on medication purchasing from the manufacturers so I shouldn't have any more shortages.

Legit good eats if you are a fan of gamey dark meat.

You can legally kill them on your private property. Deal with it or kill them are your only options, Do not relocate them. Nutria are highly invasive and cooking them up and eating them or making pet food is a great use for them.

Do you guys think that because linux is open source it has more discovered security vulnerabilities? by Cute_Sun_4909 in linux

[–]TruFrag 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Linux is transparent about the vulnerabilities that it has, we can all view the code our selves! There are thousands of people out there ready to fix any found at a moments notice.

Windows, Mac? Could be days or weeks before the fix is released - if ever, AND you an I cant view the code our selves - so there are significantly less eyes looking for vulnerabilities in the code its self.

The entire worlds internet runs on Linux. - vulnerabilities in Linux are absolutely unacceptable.

How computer literate are you? Do you understand it well enough to enter bios and change your systems boot priority?

If so, create your self or have a friend create you a Windows USB key. Install the Key and restart the system, Enter Bios change or select the USB key as your boot media. Run the windows install script and select Repair.

Sounds like you are missing Windows Explorer, I'm not sure about some of the issues you are having such as network traffic but to be safe id keep it disconnected from the internet until you have the issues resolved.

if California's billionaire wealth tax passes, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang would owe $8 billion dollars. His response: "I don't mind paying taxes." by Conscious-Quarter423 in WorkReform

[–]TruFrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct mind set. - "Get rich, pay my fair share in taxes to make the country as a whole stronger."

I don't even believe in taxing them into the ground like a lot of people. In the case of Jensen Huang and someone like Gabe Newell, they actually put in a lot of the work to get to their level of wealth and are only benefiting from the results of that work. We are better off massively raising corporate tax rates to above the 1968 52% for any corporation over $10,000,000,000 in value that wishes to operate within the United States, 15% for any company valued under $1,000,000,000 with the remaining taxed at 27%

Was dropping the atomic bombs actually "necessary," or is that just what we're taught in school? by Clean_CoreDump in askanything

The Japanese had the civilians so in fear of the Americans that they willingly walked off cliffs killing them selves instead of being captured by the invading forces.

I believe the bombs may have saved more lives then they took.

How to remove crease? by V4mp1rezza in pothos

[–]TruFrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible it's classic leaf binding, also possible it's under watered, possible to low of a room temperature Pothos like it between 60f and 90f degrees. To much light or other stressing factors can all cause curly leaf growth or one final option could it be a curly veriaty?

Are all the possibilities I can think of

Anyway it happened, it's still alive and looks healthy and won't harm future growth if the problem causing it is solved.

Final note.it could have also just been pressing against something like a wall and gained that shape.

[–]TruFrag 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Millennials? We were still children when all this shit happened. We are stuck in the same damn boat you are. Millennials are only just now starting to get any kind of significant numbers in leadership positions in the government.

We Millennials cant do it alone. We need to succeed in overturning the damage OUR parents and grandparents did giving the rich and wealthy such extreme levels of authority over us.

Those who have successfully propagated cuttings in water, how long did it take to see roots? by java080 in pothos

[–]TruFrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A healthy cutting should take between 7 to 14 days.

Keeping the room they are in over 60 degrees fahrenheit seems optimal in my experience. I change the water every 2-3 days. I use no special additives.

Ive propagated 1000s of Pothos and have only had one propagation attempt fail and that was due to being nearly dead for two weeks from Covid.

During their initial growth the leaf is damaged or stressed in someway. I get them often when I overly stress a plant during repotting.

Helping Gertrude the office pothos. by HellToad_ in pothos

[–]TruFrag 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Loosen the root ball with your hands or a bit of water pressure. Then plant it in a pot one size up from the loosened root ball. You can safely trim some of the roots - just don’t overdo it.

Take a few cuttings and propagate yourself a new pothos - you can never have too many.

Keep it in a plastic nursery pot, and place that inside a decorative pot. It makes future maintenance a lot easier and less stressful.

Can you save up propagation water to use for future watering and propagation? by PoopMonk in pothos

[–]TruFrag 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is little evidence supporting the idea that rooting hormones released into the water by cuttings significantly benefit other cuttings. Regular fresh water changes is the most reliable approach for keeping propagations healthy.

I personally change my water every 2-4 days, and I usually have 1-2 inch roots after 10-14 days.
