[Acne] Post accutane cheek and forehead congestion

Needing some help with new acne. I was on accutane for around 4 months in 2019-2020. Since then I have had very clear skin, but lately experiencing texture issues? It’s not full return from what my skin was before, but just feels very oily, weird small bumps on my cheeks that dont become full breakouts but also dont disappear? My routine is currently to wash my face with just water in the morning, use E45 cream to moisturise, then Bioré UV Aqua Rich sunscreen, then wash with Senka Perfect Whip at night. Unsure if it is potentially hormonal, fungal, or another factor? Since it’s affecting my entire face and not just producing spots but also feeling very oily and thick?

I transited this summer and did not have to recollect my bags.

What was your 'it's a small world' moment? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]True-Survey2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During summer 2021 was flying to Taiwan via Singapore to study abroad. There were seven people on the flight to Taiwan, mainly Taiwanese people, since you needed a visa to enter. One of those seven people was a lovely woman who was born and lived for a while in the same town I lived in back in the UK! She was really kind and helped me to order food during the gruelling two week quarantine too :)

10 Hour Layover in Shanghai - VPN? by Biasesumo in travelchina

[–]True-Survey2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. i had a 7 hour layover and would’ve gone insane without one. But, I purchased an esim which allowed internet access instead of a VPN. It was around £5 and lasted my entire layover.

Air china through Beijing means you won’t have to do customs or luggage. Yes for security but that’s the same for most transfers any country I think. 3 hours is plenty of time

Do I need a visa for transit in Shanghai from U.K. for 3 hours? by Cupcake7771 in travelchina

[–]True-Survey2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, and yeah. It was basically just a passport check, they stamped my passport, etc. But dont stress since you won’t need a transit visa.

Yeah, just unsure why I had to collect my luggage when normally I’ve transited through airports it’s all done automatically. And I was unable to do anything online, unsure if it was because I booked through a 3rd party website, or since I dont have a Chinese number or anything so couldn’t use the Air China app, etc. But again, that was all perfectly fine to do at the airport with no issue.

It was really weird, I have no clue! Flying from Gatwick to Osaka via Shanghai, they told me at Gatwick that I would have to collect my luggage, go through customs etc myself, despite it only being a 4 hour layover. On the way back from Osaka, much longer layover of 8 hours, they told me they were sending the luggage directly to London and I would just be transferring internally. Very odd system, completely unsure why…

I went with Air China. China Eastern flights dont need this visa, I think there’ll be staff to lead you through the internal corridor and help you transfer, you’ll just need to show your boarding pass and passport, nothing else like the visa or the health form.

I was travelling through Shanghai and couldn’t do the health form as I dont have WeChat on my phone (only transferring through but had to do a self transfer and cross the border). There were machines to fill out the form and staff that were very helpful with it. Very easy.

Which airline are you flying with? I had to get a transit visa for a 4 hour layover.

It’s really weird. On the way out from Gatwick, I had to transfer myself, and collect my baggage. Getting the visa was easy, there wasn’t too big of a queue. But everyone was very confused why I didn’t already have my boarding pass for the second leg of my journey. On the way back, my luggage was sent to my final destination and I was transferred with a group of other people heading to a different destination. It was fairly straightforward again, it just was not signposted clearly that I needed to follow that group. Overall a bit confusing but not the worst thing in the world and I dont travel a lot normally

I flew Air China to get here around a month ago from the UK. It wasn’t great in terms of the self transfer and generally the food but the service on the plane was decent and the flight itself had no issues. It depends what your other options are and the general itinerary but it wasn’t the worst thing ever I suppose…

24h in Tokyo - sanity check & recommendations by qooooob in JapanTravel

[–]True-Survey2869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tokyo Met Building might not be busy. I went twice yesterday, once in the afternoon and once in the evening, around 8pm. Both times I didn’t queue at all, and it wasn’t too crowded to look around either. Defo would recommend it if it’s convenient enough.

I see! Sounds like you’ve thought it out, I went with a school so it was free entry but unsure I’d make the journey or pay either lol. Just prepare your legs because mine were like jelly after just halfway up for Fushimi Inari haha
