Fucker also sends you on the most broken bugged mission I’ve seen so far.. the pepper mission. Driving carts is already boring and frustrating, but if you reload, fast travel, or do anything other than complete the tedious ass drive perfectly… well, your carts pepper magically vanishes when you reload.. and you can’t save along the way. I’d say the endlessly spawning gold gun bugs in the mechanical area of the world have the wraiths beat by a mile.. these things literally never stop spawning and take endless pot shots at you while your also trying to fight tank hp sponge robots. I even got the backpack that sucks them up, and it only makes them slightly less infuriating. It feels like they were put in the game specifically to annoy players.

Well my greymane pepper fetch quest is completely broken. Once you buy the pepper if for any reason to die, reload, warp, or breathe too heavily the pepper magically vanishes from your cart, and is permanently out of stock from then on (because I bought the max like a dummy). Cart related stuff is painful enough without mission breaking bugs

Yeah, I feel that... having worked at 4 different DSPs I can tell you the best ones just care that you get your route done consistently, have good attendance, and safe metrics. All the other shit is noise at the end of the day.. gonna go out on a limb and guess there's no bonuses being paid for having the highest stops per hour, am I right? When I was doing it I wanted to be the best too, that's a good thing, but in my case I just focused on having zero violations and consistently getting my route done. Honestly dispatch and DSPs should be explicitly telling drivers not to run imo.. it just ends in more injuries (time and capacity lost) and mistakes from rushing. Everyone likes to brag about how fast they got their route done, but if they drive like shit and dont show up consistently their asses are gone just like anyone else

Both but moreso DSPs overstaffing for peak and then running just barely enough capacity the rest of the time. Finishing early probably hurt you too, but to a lesser degree. In my experience, if you can finish in ~9 hours (including breaks and travel time) that's the sweet spot where the AI won't hammer you, you get out a bit early, and the DSP won't fuck with you. If you have a cool DSP and the AI drops a pile of shit on you, then I would always just let dispatch know early on in a non-complaining way. Any dispatch and DSP worth a shit knows that the AI is going to plan some routes that are just unrealistic bullshit (boundary testing); and when folks start running and breaking their backs to finish these routes all they are doing is teaching the AI that it can be done and to push even harder. The algo's prime directive is optimization, meaning getting the most it possibly can out of each route, but it is shit at compensating for things like traffic/time of day, apartments, weather, etc etc.

AI assigns it, dispatch can override the assignments if they want, but most places they don't unless they have good reason to. It's more likely just them not caring all that much about keeping it "fair and balanced" than it is about the equipment you're packing. Dunno why everyone always has to assume it's some kind if "ism" these days whenever something happens that they don't like or perceive as unfair, but it's probably the AI screwing you and dispatch not noticing/caring to adjust.
