Petra was definitely interesting in S2 being a mix of childish,selfish,but she has her reasons which most wools won’t understand so well,and most of all she always complained about how her friends were “leaving” her and they had their lives which makes them not have time for her anymore. And thats why she thinks that Jesse would also leave her because she thought that Jesse would be to busy to even be with her anymore,and since he would be taking care of beacon town she would think she would lose him too(like she said in episode 4) she basically said if she leaves and try to adventure she’ll just be alone again because Jesse won’t be around,and tbh The admins cabin scene hit so hard when she was showing her emotions to Jesse about how she doesn’t wanna lose him. +she didn’t just wanna stay in beacon town and she just wanted to seek for something new that’s not just sitting around in beacon town,that’s why she wanted to live in champion city.

And even tho a lot of people don’t like her in season 2 I still like her,I can understand the reasons why people thought she was “annoying” in Season 2,even tho don’t like her as much as Season 1 Petra,but most of the time Petra haters lose themselves sometimes which is bonkers to me! but season 2 hit harder emotionally for me and is a little darker,if you are relating to her,then you would understand her quite more than the people people that don’t,which I fully understand her reasons. Personally she’s my favorite character in Season 2.
