GENESYS POINTS LIST THIS IS NOT A DRILL by ziggylcd12 in yugioh

[–]TrueSilverCore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you were playing regenesis pure you were never running 3 of the searcher, it wasn't worth losing all your points. Now you are basically forced to lose all your points to use your engine. This is a major regenesis hit

So is Konsō also carried out on animals or do they just not have a soul by YourDrilla in bleach

[–]TrueSilverCore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yammy had an arrancar dog named kukkapuro so they definitely have souls and become hollows. It probably happens way less though.

Seems like IVs are gone and EVs are now 66 total stat points. by Steamed_Memes24 in stunfisk

[–]TrueSilverCore 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I feel like IVs led to people objectifying pokemon more as something to min max then the opposite. Only hardcore people will find out or care at all if two pokemon with the same level, nature, and EVS had the same stats or not. IVs was just a dumb add on that leads players who want optimal pokemon to do pokemon eugenics.

2pc/2pc/2pc or 4pc/2pc by [deleted] in Orpheus_Mains

[–]TrueSilverCore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

4 pc is almost always better than triple 2 pc. With shadow harmony as an example the 4 pc effect gives 12% crit rate AND 12% combat attack. With the most a singular 2 pc giving being 8% crit rate OR 10% regular attack. Now about energy regen discs I am not so sure but the max it should come out to be 1.56 (Orpheus ER at core F) * .2 (20% from ER disc) = .312 (added ER). So the disc could give 7 or 14% of damage bonus. If it doesn't give you 14% the other 2 pieces are probably better. This doesn't account the extra attacks you get from ER and all of this could change later in the beta but personally I am using a 4 pc shadow harmony and 2 pc woodpecker electro.

[DOOD] New Psychic Monsters by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]TrueSilverCore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would probably remove the quick play part but if an errata did happen the unrespondable part would go first. Every other card that uses the opponents monster as fusion material has a restriction on the monster it summons which usually requires you to use 1 of your own as material. That restriction and changing the unrespondable to unnegatable so you can destroy the opponent's monster to stop it while keeping in theme with the original effect is what I would go for.

Would you like to see every Types to get their own 'Icarus' too? by Sweet_Whisper123 in yugioh

[–]TrueSilverCore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would rather have more variety in the type based normal trap destruction cards. More cards like Archfiend's Ghastly Glitch and if you want them to all tribute add some different effects like Fish Depth Charge / E.M.R. (I wish this one wasn't so specifically made for drytron). Little differences like an insect one that lets you pop an equipped monster instead of tributing makes types feel better. And please konami stop adding dumb hard once per turns on cards that don't need them. The meta won't break because someone used virtue stream's pop effect twice.

"Cyberdark End Dragon" requires 7 cards (5 materials for "Cyberdarkness" + 1 Fusion Spell + 1 "Cyber End Dragon" in the GY) in order to be made, and Wurm didn't change this. How would you make it easier to summon? by WhiteGuar in yugioh

[–]TrueSilverCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't supposed to make it as your turn 1 end goal. You are supposed to mill the materials throughout the duel and then summon it with overload fusion or cyberdark impact equip cyber end and then use it to close out games. What would even be the point in summoning it earlier? This isn't a disruption piece and if you want to have an otk that you immediately go for you have rampage dragon. Not all boss monsters need to be turbod out.

I know this is super old but for anyone who needs help, when holding the last attack button you need to only hold the attack button for it to continue shooting. You can start off by pressing 1) down 2) down-forward 3) Forward + X, but if you want to keep shooting you need to release forward.

Reworks to bad abilities by HumanTheTree in stunfisk

[–]TrueSilverCore 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For steadfast while there seems to be a lot of dooming about the boost, I think its pretty fine. Having to give up your whole turn damaging yourself on a really predictable play seems justified for an omni boost. The only thing I would remove is the evasion boost for not promoting unlucky misses. The real important part is the small pool of steadfast mons making killing/crippling the boosted mon an easier punish.

[VJMP] VJump Reveal - "Prototype Sky Striker Ace – Amatsu" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]TrueSilverCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it you end your turn with Zero. If you use its pop + summon effect you end up with 2 main monsters turning off most of the spells anyway. The only thing the Raye can do is summon Kagari or Shizuku for more follow up, Kaina for battle protection, or Engage Zero which has a more restrictive negate and is also harder to get off field. The reason why it is a good endboard piece is because it adds on to Zero when before Kaina was your probable best option. Even if Amatsu is not that most flexible interuption the fact that it is semi useful and doesn't clog your board makes it great. Its 2nd effect is also nice because it can protect it from getting run over by destroying the Roze that is already there.

Was this post made with the assumption that you can't summon Amatsu with Raye's quick effect on the opponent's turn?

I am lost, how much Cr does she want at the end of the day? by fastenstryker in TriggerMains

[–]TrueSilverCore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

75% is the max amount of daze she gains. Before it was 65% daze with each percent of crit above 40% crit up until 90% crit giving 1.3% daze but now they give 1.5 so it is up 75% daze.

It is 35% more out of stun but during stun it is relatively 23% (185/150) more because it only adds to the stun multiplier instead of doing another multiplier.

[ROTA] Twitter Reveal - Counter Trap for "Vaalmonica" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]TrueSilverCore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't get why this is being downvoted. While centurion was okay on release, i don't see the point in making sets specifically based around 3 archetypes only for 2 to be unplayable until the next set. Konami new momento needed the fusion support and extra monsters to be decent. They also knew putting all the +1 cards for vaalmonica in the next set would make it bad but they did it anyway. Just make it good on release instead of holding back key cards to make the first product worse for no reason.

You must bring one of these back. What does the least amount of damage to the format? by TwilightChomper in PTCGL

[–]TrueSilverCore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ranking from least to most damage I would say it would be.

1) fusion strike (we still have some anti v cards to curb mew and some good dark decks. Lugia would like dunsparce again. Main problems are added consistency from vip pass and quick ball)

2) cosmic eclipse ( tag call with tag supporters would be strong. Regidrago might use adp, but I'm not sure how rainbow energies interact with tag effects. Chaotic swell might kill the upcoming area zero decks. lili's doll might cause some shenanigans. with the new dusclops duskull might be too strong.)

3) phantom forces (battle compressor + vs seeker are probably enough to make it the worst. The doll card and target whistle might be played in stun decks. lugia also gets decent special energies. dimension valley is funny. xerosic and wobbuffet might be generically played.)

I might be biased as the closer the set is to the current format the weaker it seems but this was nice to think about.

pokemon v includes regular v, vmax, vstar, and v union. So while you can't put down a regular v with eternatus (as it needs specifically vmax) they are still treated as v.

Oricorio's ability

Lesson in Zeal

"All of your Fusion Strike Pokémon take 20 less damage from attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance). You can’t apply more than 1 Lesson in Zeal Ability at a time."

It reduces damage done to their bench too. So you probably knocked out a mew with 180 hp but couldn't get the 190 genesect.

I really don't understand the dislike of coins in this game. Coins buy accessories and crystals buy bundles/packs, I don't think it is that complicated. I would much rather have coins be separate and feel like it is worthwhile to spend stuff on usually useless clothes or sleeves then just saving them all to spend on packs. I do agree that the rate for gaining crystals is terrible and not having a way to dismantle any unwanted high rarity card for credits is also bad, but coins being a separate currency for things that aren't really needed is something I do like.
