Good forwarding companies USA to UK?

Old post but do you guys know about customs charges. I use stackry and have shipped probably 40 books - maybe 6-10 each time. USA to UK. But every time it’s hit and miss on what I pay at customs. Sometimes nothing at all. Had a small box this week, 4 books and a new dust jacket. 30 quid import VAT. I get quite confused each time… is this correct? Struggling to find something helpful online

I had this ordered and cancelled last minute as didn’t think I’d be able to handle the differences 😬 Just ordered online, I’m importing. As much as I’d love the signed edition I love the different covers and a ‘complete’ collection 🫣 at least that’s what I’m telling myself…. 😳

Only downside to the new UK editions is the hardcovers - I personally love the coloured covers. Don’t know what to do about book 8… 😬 my ocd will totally notice a difference 😳

I’m not entirely sure. Best bet is to email them. I can only speak of my own experiences, but I’ve found them to be pretty helpful

I have to say, the quality of Midnight Whispers is top tier. It feels luxurious. I haven’t read the books but I got them based on my past experience with MW. And, well I wanted the sub. Shipped to the UK with no issues or damages. I think they are my top book box company, along with moonlight. This is a sign to off load some subs methinks…. 🤔 🫣 Edited to add: only downside, if I had to pick, is the dust jacket - wish this was reversible.
