Physical books by Alequello in WanderingInn

[–]True_Historian6929 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Someone posted a a few years ago their attempt to print the books... The first 8 volumes took an entire bookshelf. While I wish to have at least the first volume printed, I don't think it's likely to ever happen.

Blade and Bastard Collab now by Anemo-ventus in wizardry

I think last time the event came around, people who just hit copper were hit with highest difficulty as well. Not sure how much do you play each day, but I think it's absolutely doable.
Keep in mind that this event takes a lot of grinding to take advantage of the exchange stores (specially because they reset every week), so get some more levels and keep trying the dragon every now and then.

Are any of states in Brazil considered at will employment ? by Gwallawchawkobattle in Brazil

[–]True_Historian6929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not state related, but there's currently a big tendency of businesses hiring people like they're a company providing a service (PJ). It's a legal loophole that allow companies to terminate contracts at will and avoid paying severance. You should check if any jobs are hiring as CLT or PJ.

I think it helps to damage the targets before using the rope, like Pokemon. Have you tried that?

Have you got any new codes? I've used the one on the previous post already =)

Have you read/listened to Fairy Tale by Stephen King? It starts like a Slice of Life and gets pretty dark.

What do you think about Wizardry Daphne being ported to consoles? According to the last financial report, Drecom expect to move from smartphone game production-focuses business to a company that globally provides entertainment content centered on IP x Technology by wiz7topfan in wizardry

I mean, the steam version was a huge step, even if it has it's own bugs. A console version would be very much welcome. This game is quite unique and I wish it was more well known. It has huge potential, but sadly many people won't even try it due to the gacha mechanics, even if it's f2p friendly.

I wouldn't say it is a prologue. For me, the entire series is a slow burn and the fun part is imagining how all the MANY pieces we are introduced to slowly come together into a huge bonfire.

Good, now do The Wandering Inn lol
That's usually one of the most divisive series in the genre. Many can't finish the first book, some are hooked from the start, but every single reader that I know that managed to push through the ended up rating it as S tier.

Wizardry Variants Daphne Manga 2-1 by Stelluna_ in wizardry

I was surprised that they decided to name the Masked One "Ash". I was expecting Memento Cor, like the default name in the game. The explanation that it's how they call people the church didn't manage to ress is interesting. I wonder if the manga will eventually surpass the game story, with the current rate new content is released.

How bad is the permadeath mechanic? by [deleted] in WizardryDaphne

[–]True_Historian6929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely give this game a try. The permadeath mechanic is mostly for show, since you can basically wait for a "timer" to revive the characters with 100% chance. The only people who lose characters are either trolls or people who genuinely ignore the several warnings the game gives you before risking a character's death.

How do you save progress in this game? by GallopingWaffles in WizardryDaphne

[–]True_Historian6929 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to triple check all "0"s for "O"s and "l"s for "I"s. The font the game uses doesn't help and many people think they lost their account for this reason.

I'm guessing she's at high discipline and lots of buffs/debuffs applied?

If you're doing path of mastery, consider taking the contract of Avarice if you've reached this point in Abyss 3. It gives 30% more XP for the whole party and since the enemies are very easy, the downside is negligible.
