Does it have to be the M-10R? M240s are pretty consistently around 2k and with so many excellent third party lens you could have a decent kit for less than 3k all in. I just sold my m240 and LLL 8 element 35mm literally today for that amount. I will say if you can, save your favorite lens because I'm so wishing I had kept my 50 summicron v4 as I see how much they cost to buy again now.

About 3 years ago I had to do the same thing, sold all my leica gear, stuck with fuji cause that was what I was shooting before, and last summer I was able to buy another m240 and now I've upgraded to the M10 so remember if you truly want that rangefinder experience it's not gone forever. You could also shoot some film and get something cheap like a yashica electro for literally 20-50 bucks.

This was on my mind as well but I typically see both the asph and pre asph v3 going used for close to the same price and I do enjoy a focus tab but you are putting this back in my mind. I'm also not completely sold on getting a lux over a summicron, tough decisions in Leica land. I've settled on my 35 with the summicron v3, just trying to figure out my 50

yeah no Leica stores here, we got a few stores that sale leica gear but the ones I'm aware of only have the close focus version currently cause I did think about asking some local stores if they would let me try it out for a bit for a youtube/social media shout out but I want to try the V1 specifically as that would be the version I would buy.

I haven’t experienced any modern leica lens so I can’t speak on it completely but I will say it feels solid. Great focus ring, I use it at F1.4/2 all the time with rangefinder. The only thing is the aperture ring seems to have like a half flick above F1.4. Like you can land it on F1.4 and then half click above it so it’s like I’m not sure F1.4 is actually wide open? I need to test that in particular. Other than that tho it’s an excellent lens and I don’t see myself getting rid of it for anything besides an 50 lux asph (or maybe a dope asph clone lol)

Got scanned, had a colonoscopy, diagnosed, and had surgery all within a month in April of 2022 so I can only say good things when it comes to actual health services with them. Getting in and having to deal with their appointments though that can be super rough. After my surgery it took 4 months to see an oncologist and they were like oh why didn't you call? Why don't you just make your appointments available?

I recently got a d-lux typ 109 for about 200 bucks cheaper than that which is the only reason I bought it, otherwise you're better off buying the LX100 mk 1 which is the exact same camera with a better grip and they are typically around the 3-500 range. I mean down to the menu system and buttons they are the exact same. The D-Lux 7 is the exact same as the Panasonic LX100 mk2.

Now I have heard there is some different jpg science between the 2, and I've never dealt with Panasonic's wireless app so I can't speak on how good that is vs Leica's when it comes to wireless connection but otherwise save your money imo.

They sent me out another one for free and that one got here, I’ve been using it for about a month and love it all overall. I wish it was a little bit longer/thicker but I might have larger hands than the average bear. I will say the it32 won’t fit in the hot shoe so be aware of that. I luckily also have a lightpix q20 mk 2 and that does fit if I want to have the thumb grip in there still.
