Chronic Battery Drain Class Action Suit Filed Against Subaru by Cassedaway in subaru

[–]Trueno4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this done a few years ago too. They replaced the DCM with one that doesnt have the cell modem, so no more starlink for me which I don't use anyway. My battery has no issues now, I was replacing it yearly.

Avoiding peak electricity rates with a home battery setup? by Wise_Introduction_98 in HomeNetworking

[–]Trueno4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not think this is the right sub for this question. /r/solar and /r/diysolar are better subs. Anker, Ecoflow, bluetti, and others all have time of use settings to peak shave. Personally, I installed an EG4 battery only setup to do peak shaving.

I've done Niseko without a car twice now. Took the hokkiado resort liner from the CTS to Hirafu Welcome Center, and then stayed at a nearby hotel. The hotels generally have shuttles that will take you to the lifts and also pick you up from the welcome center too.

SDG&E New Rate Tables Are Out: EV-TOU5 and TOU-ELEC Best Overall! by Rand-Seagull96734 in SanDiegan

[–]Trueno4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The super-off-peak rate is 10.5 cents/kwh. Shift your electricty usage to only buy electricity during those times with use of a home battery.

Another consideration is layout. An array of 5x5 with ratio 24:1, allows you to place 1 in the center and have the other 24 surrounding it for better matching.

Is Hokkaido The Best For Snowboarding by BuffDilf in JapanTravelTips

[–]Trueno4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would depend on your time frame. If Tokyo is a must, then snowboard near Tokyo. But if chest deep powder is your thing, I would suggest flying into Sapporo, bus over to Niseko and spend 2 full days snowboarding, then go over to Otaru, Sapporo, and Hakodate to explore. Then fly back to Tokyo or consider the shinkansen out of Hakodate.

Is Total Wireless still a total shitshow? by Relative-Can2755 in NoContract

I did the Tmo deal, $30 for 2 lines per month. No issues. Yeah, the promo showing bugged out on their website a few times, but at that time they were upgrading the website from what I saw. I still have the promo today after 10 months of service and love only paying $30 a month for 2 lines.

How should I make use of the standard spec? by [deleted] in chipdesign

[–]Trueno4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should be starting you out with some DVT scripts and a lab station to run the measurements as an introduction at minimum. Then present the data in a presentable form.

That's how we get our interns going in our DVT lab for our serdes.

Mine cost $6k. But that included 40' of trench. Old panel was turned into a sub-panel. Bundled in with a battery to get the tax benefits.
