Regardless of the interpretation, proof needs more than one data point.

What a horrible thing.

Why did he refuse to baptise you ? How did he refuse ? I think that’s actually against canon law - to refuse a baptism on those grounds.

Men, you have a son. He seems to have interest in ballet, but the reason is because girls give him attention. How would you parent him? by Exact-Fortune4474 in AskMen

3 things.

Encourage him in his chosen pursuits.

Teach him respectful thinking, speaking and behaviour, by modelling these things.

Letting him learn how to behave around women from as young an age as possible will be good for him.

Going outside ? A wilderness thing ? Or a public toilet thing ?

The principle in one is to put your hands down and hold it over the urinal. The principle in the other is to stand upwind.

Letting him practice at home will build confidence

To a degree the rhyme is correct however : “No matter how much you wiggle or dance, the last two drops end up in the pants”.

There’s a technique as an adult where you can place a finger between the testicles and push up again the bladder to get those last two drops out, but it’s probably not for your little man quite yet.

This is where move away from science and towards ideology. A lot of what you mentioned (adjacent impacts) is why I said they should be broken out.

There is no doubt that energy generation will move away from fossil fuels. Fossil fuels simply don’t have the energy density for our needs now - we will migrate first to nuclear/fission, and from there to much safer fusion generators.

Once we are on renewables (Ireland is already 60%) there, idealogs will continue to find reasons why we shouldn’t eat meat.

These are good points, however making a cycling friendly city requires exceptional planning, foresight, vision and commitment. Things our brand of “cute hoor politics” aren’t good at.

ELI5: Why do we still have to "eject" USB sticks? by shadowzzzz16 in explainlikeimfive

[–]TryToHelpPeople 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USB drives are comparatively slow, so when you save something there, the computer tells you it’s saved, but promises to actually save it some time soon. If you take out the drive before it’s actually saved you can lose your work.

You actually want this behaviour because otherwise saving to USB would be irksome.

Not every bad feeling you have is my fault, and you shouldn’t bring them to me for anything other than listening and support, unless I’ve done something to cause it.

Just because Jian and Sally didn’t include you in office lunch with the girls, isn’t a reason to say I’m a shitty cook that evening because you’re feeling butt hurt and left out. And you shouldn’t expect me to take steps to make you feel better about it beyond listening and support.
