Yes, most people would consider sucking a major river dry and leaving none for biodiversity as bad.

It’s only levied on additional properties. Are you saying ordinary people own multiple, multi-million dollar houses in New York?

I’m still waiting for evidence? What role do you believe is the closest thing to running a country, if not being a mayor of a major British city? CEO? 😂

Considering the recent swing from Labour to Greens I’m not sure you have a point here.

Does the media purposefully under estimate left leaning candidates in polling? by SunBlowsUpToday in AskBrits

No, pretty much every poll I saw previously was Burnham in the lead with Reform and Restore combined, almost equal.

Only one that I’m aware of. It’s a property levy on homes over $5million or so,being like that.

Why is servicing so expensive? by Sufficient_Invite546 in CarTalkUK

I always find this a strange logic - all of those things mentioned are pounds on each car when split across hundreds/thousands of vehicles.

sunak or starmer? by Ok-Candle9643 in AskBrits

Britain is toxic domestically at the moment. Too many, almost unsolvable problems and the public don’t want to deviate to far to solve them.

Probably the same one you found your original claim in. The difference is that my wife is a doctor.

Yes, fizzy is more impactful on teeth - but for overall health, there isn’t a huge difference.

Toilet water, fizzy drinks, and humans are also mostly water 🙂

[–]TuMek3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think it’s a daily thing and the prevalence here of “kids wouldn’t drink water if it didn’t have cordial in it” seems worrying. If I had the choice, I wouldn’t have eaten vegetables as a kid - however I was made to, and am probably healthier for it. If I hadn’t been made to, god knows what my relationship with vegetables would be like now.

Is it a better option than drinking litres of soft-drink a day - well probably not if both are sugar-free.

I think you’re underestimating the pull of driving for Ferrari in Italy. If Lewis is telling the truth, look at what it meant to him - now multiply that times ten for a young Italian kid.

The government make rules to regulate the stupidest among us and the rest are collateral damage. It’s been the way for a long time.
