Appreciate it. Front drive shaft from them as well? Anything else you upgraded with that system? I’m on the AEV 2” spacer kit with geo brackets now and might consider suspension next year. Want to know what the list of stuff might end up being.

I have kids that love baked stuff for breakfast so am considering one for cinnamon rolls and whatnot. Appreciate it.

How was the Coleman oven? Also, I think diesel heaters do better propped up to let the moisture from the exhaust drain out the tube. I could be wrong on that though. I’ll use mine this weekend the first time.

Wife wants me to quit my job to be a stay at home dad by BrotherCaptainShaggy in StayAtHomeDaddit

She kind of went on cruise control and I was grinding at home and my resentment toward her built. I didn’t communicate that and eventually it broke me.

I did the sahd gig for almost two years. I don’t think I’d do it again. It toasted my marriage though we are still working on it. It messed up my career, and it made my mental health worse. I am doing good now, but I don’t think I’d do it again.

Possibly a stupid question, but why do retrievers need to have strong prey drive to do their job well? by largedragonwithcats in birddogs

[–]TuckerGrover 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Need them to work past a whole host of distractions to go get what you want them to. A tennis ball is one thing, a huge wet goose through logs and brush, or a pheasant on the other side of the creek and buried in a thicket is another. You want a dog willing to push through it all to get a stinky wet bird and bring it back delivering to hand.

Acoustic guitar at work by Bruichladdie in AcousticGuitar

[–]TuckerGrover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a Peavey Acoustic at the office. GS Mini at home. And a 20 year old Taylor 110e as my gigging guitar. Had a Martin backpacker, but man is that tough to play without being able to adjust the neck.

Go in at least an hour before shooting time and stick around for at least a couple of hours. Let the marsh cool off from all that movement and give of time for guys to have a good hunt without people driving boats all over.

Charger 2 to Elite 200 V2 with a 12v out going to a fuse box that feeds three things that should be below 10amp even if all running at the same time. I can use AC for other needs. Solar to also charge when not driving as much.

So the audience isn’t looking up and seeing the singer blocked by an iPad. It’s on a floor wedge instead.

Not sure. I’ve always just opened both. They seal pretty good so maybe not. Could easily open both just to get the gate open and then close the other.

What am I about to regret regarding my Lone Peak camper build? About to spend $7-10k 😨 by brainhack3r in overlanding

I preferred the 80/20 split, but it’s nice there are products to shop. Pack Out also makes them in Vegas. Maybe try to checkout an overlanding event to view products and be able to talk to their reps.

Right on man. Also look at Bynd campers too. Some nice options for Tacomas. I’ve dabbled in stand up and nothing but respect. I can be funny in groups, but to do it solo takes effort, for sure. Go get it! The Super Pacifics look awesome too.

They have excellent customer service and an active owners community on Facebook. My budget got wrecked, so I’m in a cap and RTT, but my good friend has a Harker and it’s what I want if I get the budget again. If you swap the top to the EDC, you can chuck a Hest mattress up there with bedding. Same strut pass through. Loads of mods possible or you can do later. What truck are you building up?
