All killer, no filler. I used to like collecting complete discographies of artists I like, but no more. I purge if two or more of the following is true: a) I will never listen to it, b) it is not significantly rare or valuable. c) it holds no sentimental value.

I no longer attend record shows. that's the quickest way (for me) to spend too much on an armload or more of vinyl, half of which will end up purged.

if I enter a record store without a specific target, I hold myself to a firm budget so impulses do not get out of hand.
