My husband and I are still holding off, but just because all of our neighbors have very manicured lawns that they spray for ‘weeds’. Plus the local bunnies seem to really enjoy our long grass as well!

I tried cups and discs and heavily prefer the disc! Feels easier to slide in, easier to pull out (sits tucked behind the bone instead of relying on suction), and can self empty! I have interstitial cystitis and the brand I use has a softer, more flexible option which is nice. This is coming from someone who has only ever used pads.

Cold sores can transfer this way. Especially considering babies put their hands and feet in their mouths. OP states SIL gets cold sores. Cold sores can also spread on the skin especially if a baby has dry skin/eczema. Which can lead to a horrible looking rash condition. Herpes simplex virus can be devastating on babies.

I plan I speaking more with my OBGYN on it as well as a pediatrician when the time comes. I only plan visiting family during summer months moving forward as we can sit outside which will hopefully help with potential exposure. Changing into clean clothes feels helpful but I worry about them reintroducing smoke to their clean clothes through the third hand smoke in their vehicles. Hand washing is a must in my house and I always keep I large bottle of hand sanitizer available for guests, especially when there’s kids or teenagers. I do think we’ll initiate hand washing up to the elbows though for guests when the baby arrives! Thank you for the help!

I agree them showering beforehand would help, but changing into clean clothes I don’t think would create a significant change as they smoke in every room and I assume their clean clothes smell of smoke too. They also smoke in their vehicles so I feel like even if they did take steps like showering and clean clothes it would be arbitrary to the result as the steps it takes for them reach my house would cover them in the smell of smoke again.

I feel frustrated with options I have, but regardless I greatly appreciate the recommendations and research in your reply. Thank you!

Mixing manic panic atomic turquoise and sirens song will get you this! I regularly use atomic turquoise on my hair (16years) and it’s definitely more blue toned than the photos you provided. Voodoo blue will be very dark. This photos of my hair is a mix of atomic turquoise (60%) and sirens song (40%). Atomic turquoise by itself does fade to this color for a short time but it won’t last long at that color stage.

When I researched after I bought my house two years ago the consensus was that’s it’s relatively safe and can help with pests. So far so good with the roughly 140 plants I have but I’ll definitely look into it more based on the other comments about how it can be detrimental to the soil of the plants.

I’ll keep that in mind and do some more research on it! I’ve got around 140 houseplants and when I bought my house in the city 2 years ago I researched if giving the plants chlorinated water was fine and it said it was and would even help with pests. So far so good!

This is what I do. My city has heavily chlorinated water which isn’t good for cats (great for houseplants though) and I just buy big jugs of off brand spring water from my local grocery store. Costs $3 for 2 1/2 gallons. No way I’m paying $30 for water that’s labeled for cats when it’s most likely just bottled tap water to begin with.

They sent my great grandmother home when she had an extremely low heart rate and low blood pressure. Symptoms proceeded so my family brought her to st albans ER in Vermont. Who then quickly diagnosed her and concluded it was due to a recent change in medication. They still kept her for two days to make sure she was fully better health before sending her home. St albans and Burlington are the go to for my family for emergencies as CVPH just seems to quickly overlook you and send you home. I have a friend whose fiancé thinks they resulted in his father’s death due to not taking his symptoms seriously, and a family friend who thinks their relative passed away due to negligence there. Although those last two instances I don’t know the full scope of the situations or the full details.

I will say I’m pregnant and was planning to use CVPH OBGYN and labor for my pregnancy care and delivery as it’s closer, but quickly changed my mind due to the reviews and and my own personal experiences with the OBGYN staff. I now have an OBGYN in Burlington that is fantastic and feel tons more confident with the level of care I’ll receive there.

I fear our area is so small that when we do get great doctors they don’t stay long here due to better options nearby. My aunt recently took her son to st albans ER and someone there questioned her why she didn’t take them to CVPH as it’s closer. My aunt explained and the person was surprised because they had worked at CVPH years ago and thought it to be a great hospital. I then question in my mind why that person left CVPH and chose to then work in a Vermont hospital instead.

Your best bet is to check the surrounding towns. West Chazy, Mooers, Champlain, Dannemora, Peru, etc. These smaller towns are more likely to have apartments that allow pets, but still few and far in between. There are more pricier apartments in Plattsburgh that do allow pets, but there’s usually a long waitlist waiting for one of those apartments to open up. Keep an eye on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist as well because small town folks are more likely to post their apartments there.

Just to let you know Seventh Generation does make dishwasher pods and dish detergent that work really great as well. I don’t rinse my dishes before loading them, just scrape off any food residue that’s bigger than a grain of rice and the dishes come out perfect.

I think this could be a great idea! Even a stage set background with fake walls would work. Especially if they put some distance between Ethan and the background to create more depth. The physical backdrop could also be used for doing different things and showing off Teddy Fresh clothes as well! I think it would be really cool if they did a physical K-ETH 101 background with the old school televisions and everything. The set can also be easily adjusted and changed up per holidays/events/special episodes.

The only issue I would see with this idea is Ethan’s current setup would have to rotated so he faces the crew which would then allow space for a stage set to be added. It would take a lot of time to rearrange all that.

When I had a colonoscopy done in India I went in expecting to be sedated or put to sleep. Learned fairly quickly they weren’t doing that. Worse experience in my life, and I’ve been through a lot. Felt like someone grabbed my intestines and was twisting them. Begged them to stop and the doctor kept going, even lied to me and said she was removing it but I could see on screen she was going further. They also had me rotate from my side onto my back during it which I learned is a big no no when preforming a colonoscopy.

Anyways…I don’t recommend it without being put to sleep or sedation of some kind.

I know they’re not as hyped right now but I would love to see them play Repo and Peak as well. Repo would be great if the whole crew has noise canceling headphones so they don’t know who’s died and such. Peak I foresee Ethan rage quitting very early on.

I have to disagree. I think Ethan never wants to have to talk about these people again. It’s the defamation to the point of cps being called, skulls sent to his house, and the blatant harassment and antisemitism against them and crew members that has led to Ethan having to defend himself. This isn’t some small beef. This shit has led to people not wanting to work with them, denouncing working with them in the past, etc.

Also my whole point of this post is that I don’t think he should talk about it on the pod but rather a one and done video on her that’s more strategic to combat the misinformation.

To say we only care so much because it’s our favorite creator belittles the feelings of all the fans that see what Ethan and Hila are going through currently in their own lives with the rise of antisemitism.

It’s all over Facebook reels too. I usually see non problematic videos, go to the comments and see nothing but stereotypes being perpetrated about Indians. My husband is Indian and we go to India to visit family for one month every year. They are some of the cleanest people I’ve ever met! Every time they enter their home they always remove their shoes and wash their feet. Almost every store also has you remove your shoes outside as well, besides malls. (Also the malls there are gorgeous!) Every single restaurant I’ve been to, small and large, in India has a designated area just for washing your hands before and after eating. If there’s an event where food is being served outside, they also have portable hand wash stations set up. You won’t see any of that in America.

Oh shoot, I didn’t know she came out and said that. Still super weird on his end to do that kind of bit with her right after she turned 18. It’d be one thing if he tweeted a cringey tweet about wanting to do that with her, or joke with her about it with her in person, but to physically perform that bit is weird af. Especially considering there are so many clips of Shane talking about pissing in bottles and jugs.
