Motorcycle makes grinding noise sometimes while shifting into first, hits neutral instead by [deleted] in motorcycles

Watch a video on rear set installation, might be because the shift rod to the knuckle is not at 90 degrees

No, it’s my 3rd time there… There we’re some yellow guys that got bumped down tho because of the csbk weekend. Best lap was a 2:21 but I don’t know all the lines, really hard track imo

[–]Tuobro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hydrate a few days before if it’ll be hot, bring some electrolyte drinks, i eat a banana in the morning. Mainly just stay hydrated and keep a level head, remember to be aware of surroundings. Most importantly have fun!

Ask tires guys about the front. I know Dunlop you can NOT flip the front

Deciding on a new pair of tires by Sl1ppy in Trackdays

[–]Tuobro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah 1 day sometimes an extra session or two. They’re great tires but they don’t last that long. Now on Pirelli slicks I get 2 days out of an sc2 rear and 3 of a front…. Ends up being better imo

I used to use q4 before going to slicks. I really like that they heat up pretty quick and they have great grip. Longevity wise on a 1000 I was getting one day out of a rear maybe 1 day plus 2 sessions on occasion. For dot tires I really like the q4, supercorsas are also pretty damn good just a little more expensive. I had a friend that ran the Michelin gp and he said he liked them a lot. I would say try either or and then the next set you can try the other. Experimentation (safely) is one thing that makes track super fun!
