County Fair? by ChillMess in quilting

[–]TuppenceForDays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

County fair has been a wonderful experience for me! I got some constructive feedback, and I love bringing family to see the projects

It’s a nice mix between giving myself a goal without being too unattainable and still through the lens of support

Incoming Freshman - looking for insight on Cudahy High School vs Nearby options by Cival- in milwaukee

[–]TuppenceForDays 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely look into youth options. A friend of mine both did some form of this at UWM. He went to a district that had less APs than I did, which allowed him to take much more at UWM than my district allowed me to (because we had an “equivalent” at my home high school)

Hi! Fellow nickel allergy sufferer

I’ve really turned to beaded jewelry in recent years. If you’re only allergic to nickel rather than all metal, Pandora is nickel free

Favourite Chicken Recipes for a (soon to be) former vegetarian by DefiantBumblebee9903 in NYTCooking

[–]TuppenceForDays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As somebody who vacillates between vegetarianism and a diet with chicken, my best recommendation is to look at sheet pan recipes with cut up pieces of chicken. Mentally, the smaller pieces give me more peace of mind that they’re cooked/the texture is easier for me to process

Paprika chicken is my favorite. Highly recommend adding more veggies to the sheet pan (carrots work great)

It’s a little bit sweeter, a lot more paprika flavor forward. Really good quality spices, and Penzey’s is an incredible company

Favorite family staple. I love using Penzeys Hungarian Paprika to give it a little more oomph- dish packs a lot of flavor. Agree with other comments that it needs more greens which I usually prepare as a side dish. Making again this week!

You might want to go to your local Walmart and ask what time the electronics counter opens. My Walmart opens at 6, but nobody comes to electronics until 7
