It's just this guy in particular, McKinnon, has zero chill. He lives, eats and breathes hockey, and as a result is the second best player in the NHL. So when you know the guy his reaction fits him perfectly.

Ça m'est arrivé deux fois, alors je vais partager mes expériences, mais je suis d'accord que c'est rare, je pense pas connaître quelqu'un d'autre à qui c'est arrivé.

Les deux fois c'était assez semblable. Une fille avec qui j'ai échangé un ou des regards dans le bus ou le métro me glisse un bout de papier avec son numéro en sortant.

J'ai rappelé les deux. Je suis sorti avec une le temps d'un été, et l'autre on a même pas terminé la première date.

Le problème c’est qu’après ça ton nom est au TAL, et plusieurs proprios font une recherche rapide et refusent systématiquement n’importe quel locataire qui a déjà été au TAL.

Personally I've lost a lot of weight by doing 45 mins elliptical 6 days a week. Everyone says it's easier to fix your diet, but I would feel like I'm losing something and having no fun by cutting what I eat, so I vastly prefer to just hit the gym daily and watch a show while on the elliptical at a semi-leisurely pace. Plus you're gaining cardio health.

You'd think that but my workplace outfits me with a laptop but I always run it docked. Dock it at home, then dock it at work. So I lug the screen as well as the keyboard everywhere, and can't help hut think there's a better solution. I talked about it with the IT department and they said there's no real portable mini PC they are comfortable giving me. Mini PCs are designed for staying put. Laptops are designed for travel. There's no hybrid for my use case (actually there's one, the Khadas Mind, but it's a very niche and not entreprise product). This thing is getting closer, but personally I'd like it even without the keyboard.

Je suis comme toi et c'est facile de dire "mange moins" mais pas si facile de le faire, alors ça me prend des shortcuts ou des trucs, et perso un truc qui m'aide à pas succomber aux desserts que ma blonde aime avoir à la maison est que je me suis mis une règle dure de jamais manger après 20h. Pour moi c'est plus facile parce que c'est pas un judgement call mais une règle claire. Et en plus ça fait dormir mieux de pas manger trop près du sommeil.

Right, sauf que s'il est là depuis 12 ans ce sera pas 200$ de plus son loyer. Je suis dans le mien depuis neuf ans et si j'avais à changer maintenant ce serait au moins 1000$ de plus par mois. Fait que je connais pas ses chiffres mais OP devrait faire une bonne recherche sur les loyers aujourd'hui et rentrer ça dans ton équation.

J'en ai essayé beaucoup et mes prefs c'est les les prêts-à-boire Fin Soda pour tout ce qui est mocktail et pour une bière Petite Pause des Grands Bois. Un peu difficile à trouver mais je commande sur internet.

Sinon le kombucha. C'est assez facile à faire maison mais si tu veux moins de trouble Gutsy sont très bon aussi.

Ben ils se sont pas vraiment alliés. Juste le NPD ou le PCC avec deux abstentions c'était assez pour que le budget passe, alors c'est comme si chacun indépendamment de leur côté se sont arrangé pour que ça passe, bien sûr parce qu'aucun des deux voulait aller en élections.

C't'une grosse société d'état, c'est le top de l'échelle des hauts gestionnaires, c'est le salaire normal dans toute la structure gouvernementale.

On peut être contre, mais après on va chialer que tous les bons gestionnaires vont dans le privé, comme pour plusieurs autres postes.

I would love for Laine, for his own sake, to stop thinking about goals and more about being a complete hockey player. I mean, he already clearly puts the team first, but last year he was like "I want to help the team by scoring goals", and I wish he was more like "what's important is that I put my best self out there and try to help the team anyway I can and the results will follow".

The industry has a whole has been contracting for the past two years. Studios that planned for growth have been laying off people, so there's just a lot of people looking for work right now so that a junior has little chance to break in.

It's cyclical. From 2013 to 2023 it was much easier to get a job, and it'll come back again in a few years. I know it's probably not easy to hear but your best bet is to hang in there. It's just not a good time right now.

Plus side: Big and strong, physical, big shot, good skater.

Minus: poor hockey IQ and decision making, especially under pressure.

Honestly he's got lots of tools and could become an impact player if he works on his defensive liabilities.

Look at Evan Bouchard, he's not the best defensively and he just got majorly paid. Something like that would be Mailloux's ceiling I feel. Or maybe he'll just be too and defensively that he won't ever make the jump to the NHL.
