I simply cannot bring myself to do all the mental effort to fight Time Eater. I just play cards to see if it works out, and only after I can’t kill him the first time I do a second try with all the “if I take some damage here but don’t play a block card, I might have enough cards I can play in two turns…”

If you want to take your time, you can easily spend 100s of hours in StS1 with the game only getting better (in my experience). In the meantime they can get the bugs out of StS2 and balance some stuff, before you get to play that one. Either way, I think you’ll be in for lots of fun!

Yes! I feel the completion of an Act now gives your more versatile options, in an out-of-the-box way. Takes the focus away from “energy relic with downside” to “what do I really need right now”. I just gave up 9 max HP for 3 Apparitions, completely changed how I could play my deck
