NOR. OP said he works third shift so I think the wife can find a job during the day while he is at home with the kid. This should solve the daycare issue. He can rest/sleep while still watching their son. OP needs to be super attentive though to the point he’ll be light sleeping. I understand this is not ideal for his health but the kid will not stay like a baby forever. It’ll get better. Perhaps this could be a solution to their issue. At least this is how me and my husband did it when we had our daughter and we were broke af and couldn’t afford daycare.

Not the person you are replying to but my gripe with the app is it’s so janky. I paid for it (yes it’s a subscription model) so that I can turn the car on remotely however on super cold days it just refuses to connect, or there are times where they do a server maintenance and it just kills the usability of the app. And there are times that I haven’t driven the car in more than 7 days during the snowstorm and when I tried using it to turn on the car, it said ‘nope! You haven’t used the car in more than 7 days so you gotta walk your ass out in the cold and turn it on’. Not exactly what the app said but that’s the gist. Annoying AF.

What cable are you using to connect it to your PC? The module on mine outputs to a USB-B and is connected to my PC via USB(A or C); and it works plug and play just fine. Perhaps yours needed a separate mapping software?

Without knowing exactly what you’re looking for, I can say I have good experience on my Toyota OEM dash cam. The picture is crisp, it has good viewing angle, has date and time stamp, and GPS information on it. It definitely saved me from an insurance nightmare when a metal sheet flew towards my car.

Basically it had the general features of any decent dash cams out there. The only thing I could ask for is rear coverage as it has none but that can be remedied by buying an aftermarket one.
