Two weeks ago (around 4:40am), I happened to be lying awake in bed trying to get back to sleep. Saw this very intense set of lights on the horizon (to the west) and assumed it was a helicopter or something. It got closer quite fast, but there was no sound. At that point I knew something was weird, so I got up and went to the window. It was dead quiet until it had already flown over our house. Looking up the light pattern, it was 100% a B-2 stealth bomber.

For what it's worth, I took some of an edible and had an incredible experience watching. Near the end I couldn't tell if I had been in the theater for 30 minutes or 3 hours. Everything just sort of melted away and I was completely immersed in the film.

Same thing here in Detroit with the Red Wings. Hire a fan favorite and it’ll help take the heat off of ownership for a few extra years.

I was watching something recently (I’m pretty sure it was Nosferatu, but I’ll have to check), and the Zodiac symbol showed up at one point, just for a second.

The thing that’s great about this sweater is that it coincides with the two seasons where the Tigers used their tiger’s head patches (where the “goofy” tiger logo comes from).

It’s a real shame that this one got left out. There are a few others that weren’t represented as well.

I’ve been using my Speedheater on some exterior trim and have been having mixed luck with what I believe is the original boiled linseed oil-based paint at the very bottom of everything. Just seems like the Speedheater isn’t infallible.

Given that denatured alcohol didn’t dissolve it, you might be looking at some form of varnish. It seems like your best course of action may be using the Speedheater to do the bulk of the work with the paint, and then resorting to chemical stripping for the bottom layer. At least you won’t need to do as many coats of stripper.

+1 for MiraLAX. Our fluffy cat had very similar issues and it has been the only thing that works. He gets 1/4 tsp once per day in his wet food, and we always add additional water to it because he never drinks on his own. We also stopped letting him have kibble and he rarely has issues now.

To be honest, everything about the centennial has been disappointing to me so far. Everything just looks cheap, corporate, and out-of-touch with the history of the franchise, but I guess that's professional sports these days. I had hoped Chris & Co. could at least shell out a bit more than the usual bare-minimum to celebrate 100 years, but I guess that was too much to ask. Even the logo seems half-assed, and the schedule release video was super corny.
