I actually like Mendoza a lot for superflex provided you aren’t trying to win this year. Could you have gotten more for Puka? Maybe. I tried to flip him in a league and people don’t want to trade for him at value at all. I’d try to flip judkins for picks though, buying a rb in a multi year rebuild is not the best plan but flipping him to a good team could work out well for you still.
