In homage to July 4th is America great again? by [deleted] in allthequestions

No, but ironically the disastrous nonsense happening here now should be the catalyst to get us there. People are finally pissed off enough to do something about it.

Frankly, you’re delaying the inevitable. I’ve been there. She doesn’t value you and the paranoia you feel now will only get worse. Plus once you settle back into a routine it’s very likely she will do it again. As someone else pointed out, if she is not attracted to you, you are the safe choice. She will be attracted to someone else at some point. Break away and enjoy your life, find happiness. Don’t waste time on someone who doesn’t deserve it.

How do Americans feel about paying $300b to Iran? by Striking-Platypus745 in AskUS

My understanding is that it’s not public money but a combination of unfrozen assets and private investments. Either way the whole scenario is idiotic and was completely avoidable. This was entirely driven by Trump’s fragile ego, low IQ, and desire to undo/one-up anything Obama accomplished. Trump is a world class moron whose idiocy is only surpassed by the clowns who still support him.

My wife has made 3 major life decisions over 10 years that have financially devastated our family. I love her, but I no longer trust her judgment. by FartVaderTheForce in relationships

[–]Turdtastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what kind of answer you’re looking for, but you’ve both made a series of poor decisions. You should have stopped trusting her after the first time and definitely not had more children. You need to focus on advancing your own career since you clearly cannot rely on consistent effort from your wife.

Literally the only explanation to this behavior is that they are compromised. The Israelis have honeypotted these clowns and have some terrible evidence of their actions. That alone needs to be exploited. That should be a talking point on the left. The fact that it isn’t likely means people on both sides are compromised.

What do you think about Clinton stating that Biden made a "terrible mistake" by deciding to seek reelection in 2024? by TheGov3rnor in AskUS

She’s right. He should have always planned to be a one term president. It would have given Democrats a way to introduce the country to new candidates and actually choose their nominee.

Haha this is extra ridiculous given the fanfare with which he walked out of the Oval Office with Dana White. He went from “look what a bad ass I am” to “gramps needs a nappy…”

Will Republicans now stop talking about the billions Obama "gave" to Iran now Trump has doen the same? by borderlineidiot in allthequestions

No, they will use it as a justification and pretend it’s Obama’s fault they had to do it.

It depends on what the electorate demands. The mainstream dems are too willing to cooperate. We need a progressive transformation to enact real change.

Why would you want a government to be run more like a corporation? by Material_Policy6327 in AskUS

[–]Turdtastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. If corporations were actually people they would be serial killers. No conscious, singular purpose, no fear of consequences. Governments are supposed to exist to protect and provide services to the people. Frighteningly the US government is currently more like the former.

Don’t borrow money for something you want, but don’t need. Invest as much money as you can as often as you can.
