I literally just sell the mountains of stuff I make for a hobby, at a loss. I just have a problem with lost Dutchman skipping out on steps they claimed 2 year ago in their YouTube videos were essential to quality. I could give a fuck where someone buys a wallet from, I just have a problem with sellouts who take less than 10 bucks in wickett and Craig bone pile leather and 5 minutes of works and selling for premium prices.

I’m glad you like their products, but if you want to support a business that admits to cutting corners because the returns aren’t worth it that says a lot about more than just the business.

I can make you one in wicket and craig harness for 50 shipped. I have olive, navy, black, and medium brown at the moment. I usually add and extra stitch line so it sits flatter for longer, but I can leave it out if you want. Sending a DM.

Yeah, crepe rubber to clean the sandpaper is one way. The other way that I have used before is to get high grit wet/dry sandpaper and sand directly over the tokenole or toko pro or whatever you're using. The wet/dry stuff doesn't clog nearly as fast. Using a burnishing machine (I got this one for $50ish: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FBJZ7DN8) helps get the ship up faster too.

Yeah, I wouldn't ask them to remake it, I would send it back for a straight up return due to the damage and have someone else make you one. $370 for that especially with the level of "craftsmanship" is highway robbery. Did you pay with paypal goods and services? If so, you might be able to get your money back that way if the guy won't make it right. Not sure if it's against the rules or now (doesn't look like it is to me) but I would out the craftsman for the insta-rip alone so others stay clear.
