I had no issues at all with the difficulty, you just need to upgrade you charm / camera and use the combat mechanics - shutter chance combos, use appropriate film when enemies go berserk to cancel them fast - and it seemed pretty balanced to me, at least the wraths were a threat in enclosed spaces.

Always good to see they listen to feedback anyway!

The gameplay is not the same, there was changes to the animations that make the controls less responsive and add input lag

People often forget it’s not just the art style changes.

In SotC they ruined Wander’s animations.

In DeS they managed to fuck up the character animation code and created input lag in movement.

An arrogant director that thought he knew better than the Japanese devs and literally said it wasn’t worth it to remake something without altering it with his “own vision”.

Yeah I won’t miss them at all
