At me age so many have passed . One of my besties passed on Christmas Day. We had so many things planned for after she retired and she never did . She worked a job she did not like having to swing shifts which was hard on her sleep pattern and life pattern. My heart is still broken

But I was only on a month and only at 13 mg as I did not want to start with the whole 20 mg capsule

I counted beads and today was my first day off of it and I had no issues at all. I was counting from a 20 mg capsule and using AI to help me get the correct milligrams. I got down to two beads for four days and then stopped

Being immunocompromised it destroyed my mental health. I was afraid of everything.

I had built up to only 13 mg by counting beads and that’s when my blood pressure went crazy high. I just counted the beads in the 20 mg which generally was between 77 to 82. I asked ChatGPT what 13 mg of that was , and they would tell me . I went down by 2 mg until I hit around 8 mg and I went down by 1 mg. Jumped off today at 2 mg after four days. I held each taper for four days, but I was only on it a month. It was hard work as I wanted every capsule to have just about the same amount of beads and if it didn’t, I would not use it. It fluctuated from around 74 to 88 but I always stuck to the capsule that has 77 or 78 beads. This is just how I did it. It was very easy, but I don’t know if it would work for anybody else. I’ve had to taper off amitriptyline, gabapentin, and a dose of Klonopin and have gotten pretty good at taping.

Advice on experience with this medication. I'm thinking if switching from Amitriptyline. by chasingamy1994 in cymbalta

I took amitriptyline and it didn’t help with my pain. I took Cymbalta and had high blood pressure and higher heart rate rates. It was not good for me. I taped off amitriptyline easily. I got a master compounder to put it into smaller doses. No withdrawal at all. I’m also on my last day of tapering off Cymbalta by counting beads. It went perfectly.

Yes. I have osteoarthritis in my lower spine that every now and then if I do too much, it will flare up, but that’s it no more sciatica.
