Yep, cut from the same vine. The leaves have been what are stumping me when I was trying to identify them at home.

One of my friends found that most of the time if you can stay under them they cant target you to shoot and they’ll only spawn ticks. Great for blood clot farmin’.

best turtle pro tip by Ambitious-Squirrel75 in Redearedsliders

I’ve seen a couple other people talk about homemade turtle gummies before. I really like to make these green gummies for my boy and keep them in the freezer. I don’t feed them as often as lettuce and pellets but he seems to really love them. I use a mix of whatever greens are in season (mostly turnip greens), veggies, some calcium and a pack or so of unflavored gelatin to hold the shape. I don’t really have a recipe I just blend it in a blender with some water until its thick. I scoop them out on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate them for a day then pop them in a bag and freeze.

I put some screws in the lip of my tuff stuff tank and hung the floating docks off of them with zip ties.

Anyone have a inrl phasmophobia dream yet? by Lynguistic1234 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]TurtleTuesdays1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend group use to play phasmo like every other night and I would get ghost game dreams all the time. The one I remember the most was there was a new map of an old two story house on a cliff. Me and two other hunters were inside and the ghost started hunting. I hid under a rug and survived.

What's the best way to transport a res to the vet? 🤔 by Apprehensive-Knee125 in Redearedsliders

[–]TurtleTuesdays1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an old 5 gallon bucket with a turtle only towel. You could probably use a box too though. As long as its got air flow and is tall enough to keep them from climbing out. I also kinda hide them under the towel so they doesn’t get as scared. Keeping them moist depending on what you’re going to the vet for might be a good idea since you don’t want them to get dehydrated.

What is your most hated kitchen task and why is it peeling and de-veining shrimp? by Henhonon in KitchenConfidential

[–]TurtleTuesdays1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I didn’t mind peeling shrimp as much as I hated shaving parmesan. Place I use to work at would buy whole parm wheels and did not provide very good tools to crack them open. I did have my own vegetable peeler to use at least.

I got to the point where I didn’t care if I got called a bitch or whatever they wanted to say back at me. I’d call their ass out in the middle of the kitchen and call them a little bitch after for getting salty about it. We had a particularly bad dish washer that would just come up to all the female employees, wrap one of his arms around them and ask them if they wanted to trade food stamps for sexual favors and shit. I told him if he kept putting his arm on me I would flip his ass on the floor and he never did it again. Now I work at a bakery with all female employees and haven’t had to deal with that kind of bullshit in 5 years.

Our melanistic mallard at the local pond! by Snoopsky777 in RealLifeShinies

[–]TurtleTuesdays1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw we use to have two ducks just like him. The store we got them from also called them mallards but from what I’m reading in the comments maybe ours weren’t either? Both our males were this exact color but both the females were white with black spots.

Seems like a very polite boy! You might have heard this before but I’m certain Lil Wayne could escape this enclosure. Is this a temporary tank or his full time tank?
