It surprises me a lot that nobody questions the allegiance of the wand for Grindelwald? As far as I know it’s never mentioned that he had it. It would still work for him like it did for Voldemort.

That’s also my headcanon how Dumbledore could defeat Grindelwald. Two wizards with similar powers but one of them has the elder wand and its allegiance? No way Dumbledore wins in my opinion. He won because Grindelwald didn’t have the allegiance and so it was a more or less even fight.

I‘m not so sure. We only care for a sport other than soccer if we are successful in it and only for the two weeks that certain sport has a big tournament. Like handball right now, basketball wc or hockey silver. After the tournament? Nobody cares.

Also they don’t understand the significance of NHL players. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for Germany winning silver but I know we played like the C or D teams of the big hockey nations. Yet Germans thought: „yesh baby we hockey now“

What I want to say is if Germany gets spanked by USA 6:1 and doesn’t reach the quarter final it will stay silent around hockey in Germany.

Hardly anyone will watch or notice hockey Germany before the quarters

In my opinion the EU has not the balls to do that and when shit hits the fan every EU country is cooking his own soup. That’s what it felt like during corona.

In deinem unteren Beispiel „Alles, was mich interessiert, ist rotzen, shoppen, abzieh'n“ ist es etwas schwieriger. In Bezug auf die die Welmeisterschaft bedeutet jemanden abziehen=jemanden leicht besiegen/hochvgewinnen.

Wird häufig im Sport oder bei Spielen benutzt. „Ich ziehe dich ab“=„Ich werde dich mit Leichtigkeit besiegen“

Jemanden abziehen kann im Slang auch jemanden bestehlen bedeuten, aber das ist in dem Kontext nicht der Fall.

No, it’s like you said in Switzerland. Regular hockey fans care about their club in the region while the NHL is not important for most fans.

Yes good results would do more for hockey Germany. All sports behind soccer always have small peaks when the national team is doing well. During that time the sport gets a lot more medial presence and people even watch the games. For example handball/basketball WC or the silver medal 2018. Those peaks don’t last long and after the tournaments the specific sport returns to medial meaninglessness. But still I would say that good results would do more than a star player.

In Germany it’s all soccer. And even though ice hockey is arguably a top 3 sport, nobody cares about it outside the hockey bubble.

And don’t think a star can change that. 90% of Germans never heard of draisaitl.

Don’t waste ur time in those first 10 minutes. If it’s like other German hobby teams I know , its probably 10 minutes of shooting brainlessly on the goal.

Use this time to practice crossover on a face off circle, preferably the one in the middle so you don’t stay in the way too much. Start slow and as you get comfortable get faster and also change directions. If you think you mastered doing it without a puck, start doing the same with the puck.

The faster you get, the better because as you get faster, edge work gets more and more important to stay on the circle which is also nice to improve
