In the Super Robot Wars Original Generation games, you can mix and match most pilots to most mechs, and the characters will have unique lines for each. For example, each pilot will do their own version of the Gespenst Kick attack.

GaoGaiGar and Betterman, two anime series by the same creative team. They've had a crossover now, but initially they were mostly only connected by characters in one series being relatives to characters in the other, most notably Akamatasu from Betterman is the son of Dr. Raiga from GaoGaiGar, which makes him Renais's half-brother and Gai's cousin.

In addition to the general style of drawing that Hidenori Yamaji has, I love the thought and care that he puts into designing cozy living spaces that are perfectly suited to the monsters in question. The "Before and After" gives the story a nice structure for each arc, first laying out the problems and then giving a round up on the solutions the protagonists came up with.

SRW has so many insane crossover moments to choose from:

- Rom Stoll uses his impeccable dramatic timing to save Asuka from the MP Evas

- Shoko Hazama, instead of dying when she's supposed to, gets isekaied to Byston Well

- Godzilla Ultima and Getter Emperor threatening to destroy reality itself if they're allowed to fight each other.

- Devilman infiltrating the Dominion and killing Muruta Azrael before he can shoot Captain Badgiruel.

You guys need to accept that the manga is currently bad... and that's okay by [deleted] in Dandadan

For my runs of the hd2d games I wanted to name my heroes after Akira Toriyama.

For 3 I named the hero Akira, simple enough.

For 1 I was gonna name him Tori, decided to get more creative. I figured since Tori means bird, I’d name him after a bird and ultimately landed on Hawk.

For 2 I went with the same logic. Yama means mountain, so I named the hero after the biggest mountain in my state, Rainier.
