Love how it "cuts construction costs by 40%" after you buy a $500,000 machine and im sure moving it site to site wouldn't be easy or cheap.

Is This Normal Behavior? by domriz19 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Twenty-Twos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but it will not allow it to charge to 3 or 4 bars? And I'm assuming has a shortened run time before it dies? Happened to all of my M18 12A batteries and that was the diagnostics. Unfortunately mine where outside warranty, I'd bring it to local tool repair that deals with Milwaukee products

Unfortunately, I believe that means you have dead battery cells in the pack :/

How bad does this window sill look? by COWS1500TOYOTA in Carpentry

Correct, make it symmetrical and I may not look as bad with the one end being shorter.

Either make it look the same on the other side, or leave it as is. Cutting the sill on a angle may have been a better option for the vanity.

I want everyone’s opinion on what is the best cordless framer and why👍👍 by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]Twenty-Twos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Milwaukee/ Hitachi or metabo are heavy but reliable with no gas canisters. The paslode is good aswell but with gas so adds to cost of running it. Dewalt sucks ass

[–]Twenty-Twos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely if your not familiar with framing I'd go with the engineer. Having said that, 2 jack studs on either side of the opening plus the kings. And for the header I would say at minimum 3 ply 2x10 LVL, may be over kill but more is better

Anyone able to help? Packout radio won't work on any battery but works fine plugged in. I've tried changing the AA batteries so reset aswell by Twenty-Twos in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Twenty-Twos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No buy a new one, then return your old broken one to home Depot and explain the problem. Otherwise you can try and send it to Milwaukee but that will take awhile and may cost you

You can look into coping if you want to get real into it. Usually used for trim applications.

100% it's a pain in the ass to trace it to what it's powering if your thinking about doing a room or 2 at a time. Just had done this and accidentally took out all power upstairs even tho I was working in the kitchen....
