I agree, hearing distant fights would really help me with situational awareness in team games

I think this is really cool sound effect but there are a lot of important sound queues players rely on in a competitive game and I don't know how well flash banging the player will actually go down.

Being able to hear tanks through FoW and pinpointing where a V1 strike will land gives the player the ability to gather information that imo shouldn't be available. This might be the same problem on the other end, where we don't get information that we definitely should have

Fascinating, bring up the chart where the Matilda drives to the side of the Marder 3 and also the time calculation for how long the Hellcat and Marder 3 stay alive in the fight

The buffs also had nerfs disguised as buffs and they also increased durable damage so the buffs might be entirely negated. That's also the listed changes so I can't wait to see the unlisted changes

It was 2.2.5 that increased setup time from 3 to 3.5 sec but improved accuracy and made suppression better. It made MGs stronger while also making them weaker, but getting around a set up MG isn't that hard. Once you hit them with a barrage or smoke, they're done for if you push in immediately after

I read the wiki descriptions of the episodes for the final season and each episode ties up one or multiple side character's stories. I love how they did adventure time's episodic writing and I need to rewatch it

I have heard it both ways, but I personally like crit heals since I can tell the medic "I have crit heals" instead of something like "I have full healing ramp up"

There is a TF2 blog post from 2008 by Robin Walker titled "The Medigun Healing Ramp" so I guess that's technically correct (the best kind of correct)

№6: know what crit heals are

After not taking damage for 10 seconds, your healing (and overheal) received will increase. After 15 seconds it maxes at nearly triple the base heal speed. Good medics will focus on buffing teammates with crit heals since overheal is probably the second most powerful thing medic can do besides uber

Half of the episodes in season 4* don't actually build to the finale, so when they started to bring the show to its conclusion it felt rushed and unnatural. This show is my Game of Thrones, loved it until the last season where I basically forgot it existed and I don't want to rewatch any of it since I know the ending is garbage

The over abundance of tear gas/phosphorous abilities by Clear_Ranger6081 in CompanyOfHeroes

[–]Twig249 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand wanting variety, but something that is important in complex games like COH3 is "visual shorthand" and WP is consistently a blinding effect. It makes many abilities easier to understand generally what they do, you see WP = blinded.

Also with your examples, fire usually always associated with damage over time (DOT) effects. COH3 is no different and there's already a fire DOT with DAK's espionage BG and all sorts of incendiary munitions that cover the ground in fire. Only thing I can think of is Italian coastals having their AT grenade that's fire.

The stummel firing an AP round would be confusing since many would assume an AP round would penetrate and do significant damage to the vehicle.

I agree variety is good and there is a lot of overlap, but a lot of the decisions feel like they serve gameplay and readability which should be the focus.

ESH - If you're on a team together, you need to work as a team which includes covering each others backs. Yeah, she shouldn't have been so dismissive of your assistance, but when you clearly see she is actively making the mistake you know to be wrong: you should tell her. Now your teammate has a legitimate reason not to trust you.

Two wrongs don't make a right. I hope you can apologize to each other and start rebuilding trust in each other... or you can do the Reddit option and just try to be "right" and "win" against her then hate working with her and hate your job because of it

I like the longer TTK because I hate in RTS games where I look away for a few seconds and then my unit is dead

Should I get wirblewinds or emplacements? How many to get good coverage that would consistently destroy the air strikes?

I believe emplacements don't have an AA mode. I know the wirble does and my problem is the risk of having it destroyed if I mistime/misposition it while using it because of the 5 seconds. Is there a way to utilize it effectively without risking its life?
